I'm on a quest to find the absolute worst #1 ever for the Hot 100!!! So, out of the #1 hits from 1959, which is your least favorite? If you have yet to vote in 1958's poll, please do so before August 17, 2011!

"The Battle Of New Orleans"
Generally the year starts off pretty strong, but I'm not a fan of much after "The Happy Organ".

1959 had a lot of great #1 songs. It was hard for me to pick a least favorite out of all of them. But in the end I went with "The Happy Organ."

1974 is gonna be ridiculous There's a few early 70s sets that are particularly bad, but music that year was truly awful. I have a memory that the CHR #1s are even worse.

I meant because 1974 has 34 number ones, but yes that year has some pretty bad ones.

1974 is gonna be ridiculous LOL! There's just enough spaces for 1974's list of #1s. That was definitely an incredible year of #1s. The longest running #1 that was a four-way tie with all songs only lasting three weeks at #1.

The Three Bells makes me want to throw up.
It's hard to hate on any of these songs, though, because they did after all get to #1
