Okay, it's time for "Seacrest Sleaze" of the week. I hope this feature can be dropped; however, new stuff comes out every week for this egomanic/Hollywood jerk, as people who dealth with him have said.

This story starts out with Seacrest's comment on the December 17th, 2005 AT40. Seacrest mentioned that he's "addicted" to US Weekly, when referring to pictures of whom various members of the Black Eyed Peas were dating.

This week in an radio interview, a rep from perezhilton.com said that US Weekly will have pictures of Seacrest's new girlfriend. Now, the Seacrest camp or people close to him says it's nothing serious. However, this rep says you don't become friends with Playboy playmate like, Lauren Michelle Hill. Her turn-ons are a guy with a sense of humor, something he needs to work on. Friends or Lovers?

If this wasn't bad enough, US Weekly also said that Ryan Seacrest was the cheif reason that Kathy Griffin was fired from the E Channel. Her stand-up routine attacks Seacrest and they have become arch-rivals. This feud started when in an unscripted moment - he grabbed her boobs while presenting together at an awards show. He insisted that if he accepts the E! Channel job that she is fired and replaced with a "gay guy" doing the red carpet interviews. He got his way!!!

How much is the E! Channel job worth? With his other earnings, he makes in 18 months what the Lottery Winners just received, $15 million. With this much dough & Hollywood Power, Secrest will be around for a long time.

Seacrest likes to talk about himself. Will he use AT40 sleaze to mention that he's in the magazine that he loves or could it be a first where he doesn't talk about himself? On other hand, Seacrest could try to sue US Weekly just like the lawsuit, which was later dropped, with Jason Sechrest, the porno film host:

Another nice chart, with only four recurrent songs (and like I predicted, "My Humps" becomes a recurrent on the matching 2/10 chart as "Wake Me Up When September Ends" falls off the chart).

Another cool thing about this chart - everything on the matching R&R chart from 36 on up is on the AT40 chart. And, like two weeks ago, every song in R&R's Top 40 has been featured on AT40 in some form or other. "Stay Fly" and "SouL Survivor", at 37 and 39, respectively, have since left the countdown and "Yo (Excuse Me Miss)" by Chris Brown and "Unpredictable" by Jamie Foxx (38 and 40), are the week's Breakout Tracks.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that "Scars" dropped back down this week. I was expecting the song to re-enter the Top 30. However, like many people, I'm not letting the 32-36 drop of the song fool me. After all, it fell from 28 to 37 a few weeks back and look what happened. My opinion is the opposite of the.max. I find "Scars" kind of annoying and I still like "Here Without You".

While we're on the subject of longevity, I am sort of disappointed that "You And Me" takes such a big fall this week (23-29). That's a song that I wouldn't mind breaking the record. Of course, again, "Scars" took an even bigger fall back in January and that ended up not meaning much. Maybe "You And Me" will climb back up next week. Or maybe it'll fall close to the edge of the chart as "Scars" regains. It wouldn't surprise me in the least.

Hopefully, either "Scars" or maybe even "Beverly Hills" will fall out before the next recurrent song (which would probably be "Gold Digger").

Hey, I noticed that too! At the rate it's going, eventually, all 40 songs will be the same on both charts(just wishful thinking).

This might have something to do with that week when 8 songs dropped out of the R&R Top 40. Now, intead of more debuts in R&R, older songs are building up more weeks.
