Goes for adds 9/15. This was huge in Canada... doesn't really make sense to release it in September though.

This is a pretty solid song, unfortunately they havent released a follow up in Canada yet so I can't determine how good they are as a band

I feel like my prayers have been answered. This song is red hot! This is a perfect fit for CHR, but unfortunately they are pushing this at the wrong time. For once I must agree...It's been on my personal chart for six weeks now and it's in the top ten, but anyways.

Please no more autotune. There are better bands from Canada that could be given an American push. Marianas Trench, The New Cities, Faber Drive, State of Shock..all would all be huge on CHR at this time.

I like this, but it was overplayed on Much Music :x And the lead singer looks dirty. Doubt it will do anything in the states.

There seems to be a lot of new Canadian artists with songs trying to break into the US lately. Or is it just me?

Well State Of Shock, Mobile, The Trews, The Stills, and Inward Eye all failed as well not too long ago. Metric has now made it however, top 20 and rising on Alternative

That lead singer is gross. He looks like the lead singer from Metro Station without the piercings.

Money Honey went for CHR adds 3 times, no joke at all. It also went for Alternative and Rock adds once. Flopped each and every time

Yeah, I don't really care for this much anymore. It definitely has been overplayed, and the use of AutoTune makes it worse.
I don't see this doing anything - does it even make sense to release a song about "summer" in the fall?

I'm pretty sure Hedley's "Old School" also went for adds at some point but flopped.
Here's a track that has the potential (or not) to go for adds in the US: Karl Wolf's "Africa". The original cut features a rap artist named Culture.
Probably one of, if not THE most overplayed songs so far this year in Canada, to the point of becoming grating and annoying, especially for his modern rendition of a classic song from the 1980s.
I was hearing about some hype bulding around him and the song around the time it was featured on American Idol late last season, when they were showing Carrie Underwood's visit to Africa. But other than that, nothing much.
Now I'm pretty sure that if his version of "Africa" got airplay in the US, it will be slammed hard enough by critics on its way to becoming a flop.

@ the first 30 seconds of this song. Just terrible. I could NEVER listen to the radio if this shit makes it big.

I really dislike this song. and the lead singer. The other guys are cool, but that lead singer is the worst. His voice is disturbing.

This isn't a bad song, it's just not going to do anything on radio. It's practically impossible nowadays for any Canadian artists/bands to make it big on the American scene. Well, unless you're already big like Nickelback or another band, but even Nickelback struggles a bit on the American charts these days.

Well, unless you're already big like Nickelback or another band, but even Nickelback struggles a bit on the American charts these days. Drake, Justin Bieber, Michael Buble, and Metric seem to be doing just fine at the moment. To a lesser extent, Diana Krall, Three Days Grace, Theory of a Deadman, Tegan & Sara, deadmau5 and Barenaked Ladies are doing great stateside as well.
