I haven't heard this yet or their album, but I'm eager to, if only because I missed Eric Victorino's voice. Strata was an extremely underrated group.

Oh, that's why this band seemed vaguely familiar. 'Cause of the dude from Strata. Far be it from me to accuse him of trend-hopping, since I literally know next to nothing about this band or remember much at all about Strata, but does this make any sense to you, Matthew?
This song has fun lyrics.

This song has fun lyrics. I don't know about making sense. This band did seem like it started as a more electronic dancey extension of Strata's second album, but it seems to have become even more so since then. And that second album was already such a huge departure from the first Strata album... so I dunno.

I want 2nd-album era Strata back. "Stay Young" is such a sad song ... makes me cry sometimes.

I want 2nd-album era Strata back. "Stay Young" is such a sad song ... makes me cry sometimes. I like "The Dotted Line", "Hot/Cold", and "Daylight In The City". I confess disappointment in this project as well as Beta State, the project of the other Strata members. Neither is really that great or interesting in comparison to what they could've done if they'd stayed together. It's always sad when band members who have obvious creative differences can't see that what they do is balance each other out and not hold themselves back.

ERG says this is going to radio next month. Must be a re-release.

they signed with Dangerbird recently and the album "Get Sharp" is getting re-released in like April I think. So that's probably the reasoning for the re-release of the single.
