I never in my life thought I would ever say this, but Taylor Swift definitely had one of the best performances of the night. Even with the "Apologize" disaster that stretched her voice further than it's supposed to go. She looked gorgeous and actually sang live in entirety, something most of these people would have no clue about. I don't think this says much for the talent, or the lack thereof tonight, but I have to say that Taylor shined tonight. Were the backhanded compliments really necessary? I swear, you Carrie fans are incapable of saying anything even remotely nice about Taylor without throwing in something negative, too. I gave her a complement, chilllllllllll dude! You mean to tell me that the "Apologize" part actually sounded good? The performance was going amazing, and then that happened. Regardless it was still the best performance of the night and she looked amazing, the best I've ever seen her.

I agree, but to be fair same thing happens with GaGa/Kesha, Bey/Ri, Xtina/Brit, Madonna/Mariah, ect ect ect. I don't get it, not sure why people always focus on negatives and what not, but I guess it's because they can on an internet board, unlike really life Shitty closing. Decent show, nothing really stood out to me. Like a few, tolerated a few, hated a few, but nothing was spectecular. My favorite performances were still K$, BEP, and Rihanna...Katy/Taylor/Pink I enjoyed(although some things bugged me). XTina disapointed me though, I was rooting for a huge star making performance.

Of course but obviously they gave it to usher just because he was there Trey > Chris > Usher, tbh Reverse that and then I agree . Usher's been lacking lately, but nothing Trey and Chris have done tops "U Got it Bad". oh really? you say that as if its some sort of classic when really nobody even remembers that song....

Just no. Usher's singles from My Way/8701/Confessions >>>> Chris Browns entire catalog. And I'm a fan of both, just saying.

I hate fan-voted award shows. It makes it much less honorable. Fans give artists their votes all the time by purchasing singles and albums. The industry should be voting on these awards.

I didn't say anything about Usher's albums. I'm talking about singles, let alone albums. And in the realm of R&B, songs such as You Make Me Wanna, Nice & Slow, U Got It Bad, Can U Help Me, Yeah, Burn >>>> Chris' R&B tunes. And thats no shade to Chris. I have all of his albums and think he is a great artist (and an even better performer). He just has yet to create a classic R&B song.
