but saying Taylor Swift is the most successful in the country genre is a big stretch. I don't quite understand why that's such a "big stretch", unless people who are in a panic to hastily reply are misinterpreting the original quote (which highlighted that Taylor enjoys a higher level of success on the country format than any other format she crosses over to). Look through her chart history and it's obvious the country format yields her most impressive peaks/runs. (Pretending that the fiddle constitutes country music) Have we heard "Mean"? Apparently not. The lead single off her one-week million seller failed to make it to #1 on the Country charts. lol. "Mine" peaked at #1 on Mediabase and #2 on Billboard. I think we all know country radio programmers do not base their playlists on album sales (if they did, every Taylor single would've been a record-breaking #1). Saying one position (the difference between #1 and #2) has the ability to determine who comprises the majority of an artist's fan-base is a ridiculous notion.

"That's resulting in Pop awards nominations, including last year's AMAs (won Pop/Rock Female)"
Dont take ama nominations seriously. Have you seen what Eminem is nominated for?

I think the most forgettable performances will be:
Katy Perry, as usual.
Kesha
Miley
and probably Rihanna who will either stand still or saunter back and forth across the stage and look pretty.

If Ke$ha gets over her lame affection for glow in the dark body paint, she can deliver something impressive. Katy Perry has yet to impress me with any of her live performances.

But then again, it is not a country song.

I like Rihanna. Just never been overly impressed with her live.
Memorable:
Pink, goes without saying.
Possibly Xtina if she leaves the oversinging/growling at home. Just do her thing.
Is there any probability that Xtina and Minaj do Woohoo. lol. I love that song.

Apparently someone found this picture of the performance order from a Taylor Swift website. ??? Not sure if it's legit.

Why do I feel most people throwing shade at Taylor are Carrie Underwood fans? Pressed much? Haha I've noticed that too...they come off as incredibly insecure. ANYWAYS do Bieber and Miley have to perform? *puke*

That's a horrible set of performers Only Looking forwards to Biebz, D!ke, XXXtina, Usher, and maybe Gavin Rossdale/Santana Why do I feel most people throwing shade at Taylor are Carrie Underwood fans? Taylor Swift suxxx and can't sing. Are the shade throwers more diverse for you now?

Well, considering how incredibly successful Taylor's been, can you blame them? In just three weeks, Speak Now has nearly outsold Play On, which was released over a year ago.

Her stage presence has gotten so much better over the years. Her vocals are still iffy, but she's growing as a performer <3
