Looking at today's update, the overall spin totals on the AC chart are definitely dropping, meaning Christmas music has already begun making its way onto the radio playlists. Which songs do you expect to be helped this year? Which songs will be hurt? As of now, "This One's For The Girls", "8th World Wonder" and "Remember When It Rained" are being hurt the most. And I'd say Kelly Clarkson is being helped the most at this point. mmr247.com/mmrweb/AllAccess/Charts.asp?format=a1r&showtopn=1000

What's also hurting Groban is he has a new single.
If the trends stay the same (which they won't) Hall & Oates could jump 8-3 by this time next week.

No Christmas songs yet on the Gold chart. I guess those will start showing up in the next week.

I would expect pop-rock songs to be helped the most. I would think softer ACs might be the first to go All-Christmas.

"Heaven" by Los Lonely Boys is the greatest dropper. It's #1, so of course it's going to lose more spins than a song that's outside the top 10. What you want to look for are the songs losing the biggest percentage of spins.

The a1m panel includes stations that have gone all-Christmas. If all-Christmas stations are left on the a1m panel but removed from the a1r panel then of course the a1m charts will have more Christmas songs.

Um, the all-Christmas stations were not removed from the a1r panel. Why would we have Christmas songs with 500+ spins on stations that are not all Christmas? I just have a feeling that a lot of small market AC stations have gone all Christmas. I know that one of the local non-monitored AC stations here in Fort Collins/Loveland has gone all Christmas - Sunny 97.9. That is not tracked by R&R.

The all-Christmas stations usually aren't removed from the R&R panel until the first week in December.

The all-Christmas stations usually aren't removed from the R&R panel until the first week in December. You mean for the current charts in terms of bullets, right? Because on the Mediabase Gold Chart last year, they still tracked those stations.

It'd be nice if all these Christmas songs could make top 15 and push some older songs out.

That's what happens on Billboard/BDS AC every year around this time.

As of this morning, the Gold chart is now VASTLY different. All of the Christmas songs that were so high up are now gone! Only a few are left and their spin totals are much less. I think that Mediabase has now indeed taken out all of the stations with all-Christmas music from their a1R chart. That sucks big time - now the sans recurrent chart will have hardly any Christmas music on it.

Every song in the Top 20 is bulletless.

Looks like Mediabase is playing some games on us...

the new BB chart currently has 11 xmas songs on it. Josh Groban zoomed from 19-1!!!! this has to be the record of all time on that chart.

There were no debuts on the US Music Survey this week because of those dropping spin totals.

It looks like Seal and Kimberley Locke are going recurrent this week.
