They both have Hallmark card moments of cheese, but I'm gonna have to go with Lionel Richie's hauntingly beautiful effort.
As for Stevie, I'm more partial to his 70s classics (especially anything from the brilliant and epic "Songs in the Key of Life" - one of the best albums of ALL TIME). Not big on 80s Stevie unless we're talking about "Hotter Than July."

Stevie Wonder by a lot. I find "Hello" terribly grating. I'm not even sure why.

I don't like either but still... ...even though... I'm more partial to his 70s classics (especially anything from the brilliant and epic "Songs in the Key of Life" - one of the best albums of ALL TIME). Not big on 80s Stevie unless we're talking about "Hotter Than July."

Hello's really good, but I really love that Stevie song. It's so feel-good.
