Although "Speak Now" is not some groundbreaking album it edges out Kanye in my eyes and ears. Never liked one song from him, and i think he is terribly overrated as some kind of rap/hip-hop God. Immortal Technique and Eminem over Kanye any day.

Speak Now is cute, among the 40 best albums of the year, but My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy owns 2010 with rights to influence music 2011 & beyond. Simply put, Greatest Achievement in Advancement of Pop Music Production goes to Kanye Omari West. I listened to them seperately on youtube. That's the problem, DragonBallz. This album begs to be heard via CDQ files at the very least, something YT can't provide. Your taste level has been known to be questionable, but I recommend you try again. Immortal Technique and Eminem over Kanye any day. Kanye tops Technique but I'm not even gonna touch on Fem.

They both have worked their a..es off to get there where they are now. It has not been handed to them. They know what they are good at,what the fans expect from them, and they keep doing it with love. If millions of people who buy Taylor Swift albums get something out of her music, (which they obviously do,or else they would not be purchasing it) all the power to her. Same thing with Kanye. But to say Kanye makes music somewhat superior to Taylors is absolutely absurd. It can`t be even compared that way, because these genres of music are completely different. |

Wow. Are all Kanye fans on such a high horse? idk but what's the deal with Immortal Technique fans? Are you familiar with the posting history of flamez, the now banned poster who was also a fan of the G.O.A.T. Peruvian rapper? Since you both -- two distinct individuals, I'm sure -- brought him up, I checked out a couple of his vids on YT and was unimpressed by a style wholly derived from Nas's "I Can" single. Did he have a skreet team hitting refresh for those 5M views? Are you saying Kanye's popular in urban areas & Taylor rural? idk I think they each have broad appeal that transcends geographic boundaries. If they can't be compared, why are you spending time typing paragraphs comparing & contrasting the two? Anyway, you're acting as if I said Speak Now sucks, when in fact I mentioned I like the album. However, there's not a single track on there I'd rather listen to than anything on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, which is one criterion by which I judged Kanye's work superior.
