I think these go on a page about Holiday music on this site somewhere. Or at least that's what happened last year. But if you want to start Christmas songs that are charting on Modern or Active, you might as well add Coldplay and the reunited The Killers. And Ozzy Osbourne, just from memory.

Luckily I have not heard this. From the title alone it looks like a disaster.

You really, really don't though. I don't know why you're having such a go at this. It's a charity single, made in good humor. I'm slightly suprised it's hit rock radio, but it definitely serves its purpose as a fun song. The buzz will probably die down after christmas anyway, I would suspect.

^ I did not know this was a charity single. And it sounds way more serious than just any novelty fun song. What's the charity for?

I like his voice. I think he is a solid lyricist as well. Even if the song blows a lot of artists have some songs that blow.

Ok well I guess not.. but he makes it convincing with his voice that he doesn't like Christmas. Why make a Christmas-hater song ???

I still rock out to "I'm Not Jesus". I just listened to this song. Nothing Special. I mean its like a novelty song. I mean like "Stop Giving Me Useless Crap For Christmas". You may play it a few times during the holiday season but it's def not a classic Christmas song like say a "Same Old Lang Syne" by Dan Fogelberg.

It's a jokey single for charity, basically. Take it for what it is. And I can't really ever see Corey Taylor singing about being all jolly and happy, can you?

Jesus doesnt care" Yeah...I don't see him being happy and jolly (yeah i know he didnt write 'I'm not Jesus' but he did sing it) So your point is correct. Singing about Joy isnt really his style.

Well I have nothing against the cause, its great. But the song on its own merits, is not good.

Yeah, I'm kinda suprised a festive song is doing so well on rock radio. I'm guessing this will plummet after xmas, but you never know.
