"Though Katy is a stronger single artist than Britney and Godga" i dont see katy as a stronger single artists than gaga. i could agree on equal strength or gaga stronger. gaga hasnt had a song do poorly yet. all of her singles went double platnium (alejandro is there or is REALLY close). 6 of the 7 went top 5 on the hot 100. 6 of the 7 made it to number one on chr. I agree they both are equally as good as a "single artist." But Gaga is much more than a singles artist, where as Katy is pretty much a singles artist. ???

It's funny because this is completely right but don't tell Riri fans that she is a singles artist. Sht will hit the fan

Sht will hit the fan Gaga and Riri are like the big kids on the playground, where Katy is like the picked on. Gaga does not put up with Katy's puny singles where as Riri trys to defend her..lawl. But I do have mad respect for Katy, she can pump out so great songs. Firework, and Teenage Dream are songs that I can still listen to and not be sick of but California Gurls got old real fast..

"I'm glad their going with this. It sounds like a hit, but also is something different for radio right now. LFN next! Then re-release if their going to do that, if not just throw Peacock out their for fun"
ive said it a lot, but i just dont see another single released after this, and then a re release. recent cases point to re releases happening after 4 singles, or not happening

I predict a "flop" for this era's standards.
And that means not going top 3.

Last Friday Night, imo, potentially could be the biggest hit on the album. I can easily see it being #1 for multiple weeks. I agree. I only think Teenage Dream rivals LFN as best track on the album. I like E.T., but I don't love it, and I haven't been able to get on board with it as a single. Still, I want this smash era to continue, so I hope it does indeed out-perform my expectations. Ace, that is exactly how I feel. Every word. However, I can get on board with E.T. as a single if it keeps the horrid Peacock from getting released. It is different, which I suppose is what they are going for.

i think it is the perfect choice now. It's the strongest single left (to be risked in the winter season with LFN being saved for last during spring). It was either this or Peacock, and they made the right decision, despite Peacock being released elsewhere. There are a lot of things to consider, and this was just the wiser choice. Nothing wrong with an easy top 10.

Eh, not the strongest single. Definitely think it will hit the Top 10 on Pop though.

Perfect Winter single. No similar sound right now on radio. It will be #1 for her. There is no stopping her after smashing 3 singles in a row and having each one stronger than the previous single. She will easily go 7 singles deep this era.

^absolutely not. this will not be going to #1 with the other songs climbing by the artists who sing them. she is definitely not going 7 singles deep either

There is no way that Katy Perry of all people will be doing 7 singles.. She is a strong singles artist, but not that strong to do 7 singles.. hahahah

Hoping this is true. Was listening to the album earlier today and found myself hoping for "Circle The Drain" to be released...weird as it's my least favorite on the album...

I predict Last Friday Night (TGIF) will be release probably in Spring sometime. I am not a HUGE Katy fan but she is smart when it comes to releasing singles. She knows better not to mess with Britney and Gaga. These two superstars will just smash Katy out of the water. So being the smart single artist that she is, she will have a great rounding of an era with LFN.

This will hit. LFN will smash. Going to end up being a very very impressive era for Katy.

I wanted Peacock. It could have been her gay anthem.

I could see 2 more singles after this. What 2 singles can you see exactly? Last Friday Night and.....? I mean her team is very "strategic" in they way that they release the singles. Britney, Gaga, and Riri all and new singles/albums happening in the beginning of the year. She will hold off on her new single until about March/April when they other songs are getting over played, to end her wonderful era. Na. I do not see this as being a "gay anthem." Tbh I see it as being a total Flop.

Britney will impact in Jan/Feb, gaga in Feb/March...

I just don't like this song at all. I'm thinking it'll be this era's TOY in terms of performance, except it won't peak so low. Then LFN will follow up and smash, like WUIV did.

I'll be gutted if they don't release LFN after this. It's too obvious a single.
