Last year's mashup made it to #48 on Pop I believe. How far will this go?

Eh, I liked 09's a lot better. This one doesn't have much of a flow to it like 09's and isn't as cool sounding as 08's.
Earworm did a good job with what he was given though. The reason 2009's was so good was because the songs in the top 25 were pretty diverse which made mashing them together really cool. Most of the big hits this year were carbon copies of each other so what's the fun in that?

LOL well this answers our question in RT.
It's always interesting to hear these but I'm just not a fan of the mash-up things. I'd rather just listen to the songs individually.

I don't remember Tik Tok being in last year's mash-up. Generally the big hits of the last quarter of the year don't make it.

I don't like how they incorporated Rude Boy. It just doesn't work well at all. Other than that I really liked it.

The song selection sucked this year. Thank you America for choosing some of the WORST songs to turn into epic hits. The songs I actually LIKE out of this year's top 25 were like non-existent in the mix. Katy Perry got the most airtime.

LOL at all those Dr. Luke beats. And that will continue to be the theme in DJ Earworm's 2011 mash-up. ;)

Earworm should have used Tik Tok's background instead of Dynamite

I was kind of at how tik-tok, cali gurls, and dynamite all flowed into each other seamlessly...

3:43-3:57 is awesome.
Wayyyyyyyy too much "Rude Boy."
2009's was definitely superior to this.

Yeah, I agree with the major consensus. This definitely has its moments, but 2009's was so amazing and epic. This year's is the same as 2007's and 2008's. Just a bunch of pieces of songs put together. No smooth flow. Kind of a let down since it took him longer to release this one. Which really stinks since I like almost all the songs in the mix this year. I still see this getting a lot of airplay, though, seeing as how he made a name for himself last year on pop radio. I agree, that's my favorite part.

Last year's was better. This one is decent. Got a little wonky in parts.

I actually really like it. It's really surprising because I never usually like these mash up things.

The difference between the 09 and 10 mashup is that the 09 was instantly catchy from the beginning. I really enjoy the 10 only after 2-3 listen but yes the 09 was better.

Also, 2009 just worked lyrically. If you look up 2009's lyrics, it looks like real lyrics to a song. This, plus his first two don't really smooth together lyrically. Although, I will admit this one does a better job lyrically than 2007's and 2008's, which are essentially the same pieces of different songs over and over again.
I think this one would also be better if they were official a capellas and instrumentals. Unfortunately, he has to make most of them himself, which sometimes make the vocals sound like they're in a fishbowl. If the labels were smart at all, they'd give him the official instrumental and vocals once they learned they were top 25 on Billboard and then give permission for it to be sold on iTunes.

Yeah. It reminds me of the 'down' element of 2009's.

I do like how he's tried to make it more like a real song with an intro, verse-y bits, etc, but this one's nowhere near as good as 2009's, but I do blame it on the music that made the cut, not Earworm's efforts. Last year's made #48, I expect this one to make say #40ish, because he set a name for himself with last year's.

This is blah. It's never as good as the first time. well, being that 2009's was much better than 07 or 08, this argument doesn't hold true.

Eh, I like it, but it's a HUGE let down from last year. Last years flowed so well, and sounded like an actual song. Hopefully this grows on me more.

Yeah. I agree with everyone that says this is nowhere near as good as last year. Even after listening to the mash-up 4 times, I still don't like it. I don't think this will go anywhere past the top 50, if that.

Definitly needed more Tik Tok. I mean it is the number 1 song. I liked it after 2nd listen. I'll have to go listen to the older ones and compare.

Last year's was definitely better. Can't say I don't like it, but it's not a mash-up worthy of being on my iPod ;)
