^^ "I Work Hard, I Play Harder, I'm A Good Timin' American Daughter". I couldn't imagine MG singing that Also "So Called Life" is the same song Sean Patrick McGraw released earlier this year. True true but I guess I was thinking the lyrics would be different ;)

Wasn't really sure where else to put this...I'll start a listening party for "Hell On Heels" hopefully sometime this week, assuming all the songs get uploaded to Mediabase. Columbia Nashville’s Pistol Annies, the band formed by Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley, should do 35-40k for their nicely named debut, Hell on Heels. Lambert’s husband, Blake Shelton, co-wrote the closing track on the album, “Family Feud.”Source: HITS Sales Predictions Considering their debut single emerged impressively on the digital chart in the Top Fifteen at one point, these numbers can't help but feel slightly on the low side to me. But there's no need to complain necessarily, since the same single is nowhere to be seen on Country radio so it isn't like it has been rolled out like a standard Miranda Lambert & Friends project but, rather, an honest, demographic supergroup that, if anything, features Lambert in the background more often that at the forefront. Namaste, lisping HIBISCUS It sold nearly 42,000 copies most of those digital. They're now manufacturing them to make the album available in stores everywhere.

^ Sweet. Thanks for the news! I have yet to get my copy, but I've listened to the album in its entirety twice, and I loved every single song. I will definitely get it when the physical CD is out in stores.

Ugh. MG's "Rebels On The Run" as been changed from a Oct. 4 release to a Oct. 18 release. (Amazon, Barnes And Noble Website)

^That will actually probably benefit them. The 4th is already crowded, with Scotty McCreery and Rodney Atkins set to release that day...we know Scotty will sell big, and Rodney will probably do alright as well.
The 18th is Martina's release date as well, but it works good for MG because a lot of big albums will already be out, yet they're still getting theirs out there before Toby, Vince, and of course Miranda.

Amazon has the physical copy of Pistol Annies' new album listed for their new releases on 9/6. Is the physical copy really going to be available that quickly?!?

Did anyone else purchase Glen Campbell's new album?
I liked his last album, "Meet Glen Campbell," so I took the plunge on "Ghost On The Canvas" as well - MGC was better in my opinion. While it's a good album to close his musical career, I do not like all of the instrumental interludes that he crammed on the disc. It may be an 'artistic' decision but it's rather irritating to the listener.

Wow...never been a huge Miranda fan but that cover is amazing. She is stunningly gorgeous in that pic. Of course, I'll have to like the music if I'm gonna buy it, but the cover *almost* would make me buy it anyway, lol. So far, I really like "Baggage Claim", so we'll see if the rest of it fits in with my personal tastes. Anyway, I haven't seen either of these two covers posted here...so I'll post 'em! Album covers for Scotty McCreery and Hunter Hayes Scotty: Hunter:

I love the new Miranda cover. I especially like the way the used her emblem to highlight her fan nickname 'Ran' on the cover. Also, I really like the flaming car and she looks stunning. Hunter: Oh My God, I'm in love Like with jhomes & the Miranda cover, I might just have to buy this based on the cover, lol. I love Storm Warning though, so I have no doubt I'll love the album.

I wasn't aware that Keith Urban ever did instrumental interludes on an album but yes, it's annoying to me regardless of the artist. Mariah Carey does it as well and it's just not necessary. However, opinions are like...

^ Man, I can't wait for this album! There's some interesting song titles, and I can't wait to hear all of them.
So far Fastest Girl in Town, Dear Diamond, and Oklahoma Sky are jumping out at me the most.
