"Same Old You" on the Miranda album is a Brandi Carlile co-write. Brandi also sings on the track.

Has anyone heard anything about Easton Corbin's sophomore album? Great question I'm looking forward to it. Still love his debut.

I think his album was the best debut of 2010! I really wish they would have given him a 4th single, theres been plenty of time since his last one.

She looks so old! Like... really old. I looked quickly and thought it was a really bad picture of Jamie O'Neal...which would've been nice to see her back but it's a really bad cover...probably the worst one I've seen this year for a major release. Much like Rascal Flatts very unfortunate cover last year.

Why not show off her great smile on an album cover is what I want to know.

Why not show off her great smile on an album cover is what I want to know. I know this cover is pretty bad. Those flowers really don't look all that nice and the photo is really not one of the best I've seen of her. I will say that i do like the fonts they used for her name and the album title. but other than that I feel they should have done something completely different.

I can see it now "Scotty Vs. Hunter" arguments from fans like Carrie vs. Taylor (or Miranda). Well, I think it's obvious who's better looking. So there shouldn't be an argument there. lol I think that's all a matter of personal preference, as anything is when it comes to looks. "Beauty's in the eye of the beholder." Meh. At my age I feel like could end up on a FBI list somewhere even commenting so I'll just move along.... lol Well Hunter is nearly 20 so no problem there. Scotty, well... Any word on the track listing for Josh Gracin's album that comes out Tuesday? I can't find anything. It was delayed again, I believe.

Lauren's cover looks like shes staring at a fly on the wall wondering what to do about it, Hunter's reminds me of Bryan White on his cover of "Between now and Forever" and Hunter really reminds me of Bryan in General. Scotty's looks like a picture his mama woulda took of him in the backyard on a nice Summer day. Very real and authentic. I like the cover of his TTWG single better tho (thats my avatar) cause it has the casual Country sittin' and pickin' on the guitar look to it.

Ugh, I was really looking forward to getting that on Tuesday :(
Why the delay? Are they expecting Long Way To Go to be a hit by then? It's not looking like it on country at least

It's not looking like it on country at least They're probably hoping it can get higher on the AC charts first since it's just made the top 20 there. (that is the one it's charting on right?)

It's not looking like it on country at least They don't have any intentions on sending it to country radio. It was supposed to go out to AC (according to AllAccess) but not country.

Lauren's album cover is disappointing. I agree that she looks really old in it, which is hard to believe since she's only 16. I like the font, but thats about it.

According to an ad on the Music Row site, The Dirt Drifters' recent album This Is My Blood will be in stores tomorrow (Sept. 13).
It was released digitally this summer, on July 18 I believe, but is now apparently getting a physical release as well.

What kind of cover is that? I thought the cover was the pic that was released when they announced the album. It was beautiful. I don't like this one.
By the way, I know most of you don't care, but well... Lady Antebellum's album will be released in Europe on Oct. 3.

I'm considering getting the J+R Christmas album, which would be something I've never done before (the most Xmas music I've ever purchased is a single song here or there, aside from Sara Evans's 4-song EP).
I'm with mairy though on that cover. I'm disappointed with it for sure. It looks cheap, like they edited it a lot to make it look wintry, instead of just shooting a nice picture of them in an appropriate setting.

Jaron Lowestein has a new band and a new album coming out today: The new band that I'm in, The Cordovas, is releasing it's first album tomorrow. The album will be available on Itunes for $4.99 and will only be available in physical form at the shows. Option 3... you can go to thecordovas.com and download the entire album for FREE. Get it anyway you want it :)Details Emerging On Lambert’s Four The RecordLambert wrote or co-wrote six of the album’s 14 tracks, including the current single “ Baggage Claim,” which features Josh Kelley singing backup and Steve Winwood on B-3 organ. The song has become one of the fastest rising of Lambert’s career and is currently at No. 14 on MusicRow’s CountryBreakout Chart. Another highlight is a duet with husband Blake Shelton on “ Better In The Long Run,” which was penned by Pistol Annies bandmate Ashley Monroe, Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley and Gordie Sampson. Lambert’s friend Brandi Carlile wrote the song “ Same Old You,” on which she also provided backing vocals. A Limited Deluxe Edition of Four The Record will also be available on release day, and includes a bonus song as well as a DVD featuring Miranda sharing stories behind each song. www.musicrow.com/2011/09/details-emerging-on-lamberts-four-the-record/

Well, I am MORE than thrilled about this but does that mean they're ignoring the fact that "There Is A God" was intended to be the lead single off the new album back in 2009? The article implies that this is the first thought of a new album since Call Me Crazy was finished. I never really understood what happened there. They released TIAG as a single, it tanked, and then she disappeared ala "Finding My Way Back Home." Strange. But who cares, any news about LAW is EXCITING news for country music.

I thought the exact same thing when I read the article. I just wonder if there was an entire album shelved like it was after Finding My Way Back Home tanked....
