Quite a lot of movement this week, which is probably due to last week's chart being recorded early (for the guest hosting). Katy Perry gets her fifth #1 and Taylor Swift has the biggest rise this year so far (WOW).

AT40 Breakout: Cee Lo Green - F**k You 21 12 (05) Enrique Iglesias featuring Ludacris & DJ Frank E - Tonight (I'm F**kin' You) (New Peak) Why are you listing the dirty versions when the show is playing the clean versions?

Again, here is another reason why this show is a joke since Ryan took over. On Mediabase 24/7 Pink spent 3 weeks at #1 with Raise Your Glass which included Xmas and New Years weekends. Now I know that durring those weeks there is a chart freeze and the final #1 of the year, gets two weeks added on to it's run at the top. So that's why "Only Girl" got 4 weeks total at the top spot. What makes me mad is that Pink was #1 for 3 weeks on Mediabase, yet 1 week on AT40, she deserved another week at the top on AT40. If Ryan used all of the data for the rankings like CK used to, the chart would be better. Instead, Seacrest only uses data from stations that carry AT40. I miss the Casey Kasem days, Casey mattered, the show mattered then. This show seriously needs some changes. I may just be complaining here and I know it's just a show and I don't have to listen if I don't want to but it seems to me the songs and the rankings were more accarate when CK was there? Anyone aggree!

I think the show should follow exactly the same as each week's official Mediabase (w/ recurrents) update, no fan polls or anything.

Every week I keep on hearing Seacrest talk about songs being bassed on "our" votes. How do we vote for songs on AT40? If you go to AT40.COM there is no way to vote for anything there. Is Seacrest just saying this so we think that us as fans came up with the rankings?

Anyone aggree! I looked back at Mediabase, and it looks like Katy was already #1 there on Dec.26th. If AT 40 is 2 weeks behind, it seems right that she would be #1 this week on AT40. I think the rankings were more verifiable back in the CK era. Sad that King of Anything dropped so much. I really like that one. Take It Off...they did! Katy Perry jumped from 5 to 1, but Replay a year ago went from 8 to 1. I also found another case where the top 2 was completely replaced with new songs. The weekend of 1/31/09 Just Dance and Single Ladies replaced Womanizer and Live Your Life at #1 and #2 respectively. Might be others after that. I didn't check.

Actually, both Forget You and Hold It Against Me were played as extras. About Forget You, Ryan said that it got all these sudden votes at at40.com and it must have something to do with the Grammy nod for record of the year and the Gwyneth Paltrow performance of it on Glee. He described it as a re-buzz, and said he loves the song. He also wants opinions on which of the new Britney Spears or Lady Gaga CD's would do better.

The official song titles are "F**k You" and "Tonight (I'm F**kin' You)." If a song is retitled for radio, that's an alternate title / clean title / radio title / remix title etc., I always use the original title, wherever it is.
