Updated Performances:
Mary J. Blige & Lil' Wayne Far*East Movement, Ryan Tedder & Snoop Dogg Britney Spears & Rihanna Britney Spears, Ke$ha & Nicki Minaj Pitbull & Ne-Yo Black Eyed Peas Cee Lo Green Keith Urban Lady Antebellum Taio Cruz
Show is kinda ehhh...just because Britney/Beyonce are there does not make it some epic show. The overall list isn't very exciting.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Beyonce has throngs of fans – including celebrities and political power players – and a few famous faces will be part of a tribute to the “Run The World (Girls)” singer at the Billboard Music Awards, Access Hollywood has learned. Sources tell Access that First Lady Michelle Obama, Barbra Streisand, Lady Gaga, U2 frontman Bono and Stevie Wonder will take part in a tribute to Beyonce at this Sunday’s award show in Las Vegas, where the 29-year-old beauty will be honored with the Millennium Award. Beyonce recently teamed up with the First Lady and the National Education Foundation in the fight against childhood obesity, and worked with fellow pop superstar Lady Gaga on their 2010 hit, “Telephone. The stunning singer also performed Etta James’ classic ballad, “At Last,” for President Obama’s inaugural dance with Michelle in 2009. The Billboard Music Awards air on Sunday at 8 PM ET/PT on ABC. www.accesshollywood.com/_article_48326

She kinda fell off...

Can I just predict that TTWE is going to be a mess. There's no way the 3 of them are going to do choreography so they'll just be standing there wailing on their mics. Maybe I'm wrong though...

An epic mess. Britney, Ke$ha, and Nicki on one stage. They could be sitting on a chair, lipping, and it still would be one of the best performances of the night(along with Bey of course). ;)

Ke$ha isn't performing with Britney and Nicki, she's already doing Blow and Animal I believe. I'm sure she will do a part in the remix. there is no reason why she wouldn't. she might also have a solo performance as you said. we'll see tomorrow.

??? How is beyonce getting a tribute to her? She is getting ready to release her 4th album. LMFAO. I've never seen a singer so hyped in my entire life. That's really emberrasing for Billboard. In 10 years, Beyonce has 12 Top 10 singles. That's called a hit career, not legendary. In 10 years, Madonna had 25, Mariah Carey had 20. Janet Jackson had 19. That's legendary. Beyonce shouldn't even be in the same breath as Madonna, Mariah and Janet. She should be in the same sentence as Ashanti, Jennifer Lopez, and Ciara

It's no coincidence that this "millenium award" was *ahem* created..... let's be honest here.

Haters are SOOOO pressed.
@ uglynumber2, did you know they are honoring her for her entire career, including her days with Destiny's Child which by the way is the bestselling girl group ever? So, what's her number of Top 10s in that 10 year span if you add DC hits?? Oh, I see.
Billboard knows better. STAY MAD while she racks up more awards than your fave could ever dream about.
@ MickeCheck12: Honorary awards are created all the time. It's nothing new nor surprising, and it certainly doesn't diminish its value. I'm sure you wouldn't be saying any of that if your fave was the recipient. Oh, and by the way, the World Music Millennium Award was also created for MJ and MC. So what? You can also STAY MAD.

If someone would make an unnecessary negative comment like that about GaGa, you'd have a conniption and respond 4 or 5 times about how much you disagree.

Gonna be funny if the album drops to better numbers than Katy, Britney, Rihanna, Ke$ha, JLo, ect even when she doesn't have a "hit"...lol(of course she could bomb too, but we;ll have to wait til June 28th <3) I can't wait. Should be a great show, I pretty much love or like all the performers. And Bey's tribute will be great to watch, seeing all the stars praising Bey at only 29 :)

Excuse me but who else deserves to be honored with the Millenium award? It is unfair to compare Beyonce to Mariah...they come from different eras. Beyonce has CONSISTENTLY remained relevant throughout the decade. I'd like to see the haters name someone more deserving of this honor.

They are also including her Destiny's Child career with this, at least I would think so. And even if they aren't, it is playing a factor into it. She WAS Destiny's Child. I love Kelly Rowland but Beyonce sold the group and it was a hit because of her.

It's disgusting "Here's an award for Beyonce....well Beyonce and Destiny's Child because the group was really about her." That just shows how Papa Knowles knew she couldn't stand alone in the late 90's so they throw her next to 3 less attractive, less talented, darker-skinned girls and make her the star. Destiny's Child was always a vehicle to start Beyonce's career and they threw all those girls aside. That's why she will never get the love from me that others shower out. DC was just a platform to launch Beyonce as a star and that was unfair to all those girls. As a teen, seeing your fav group go through all that, it was weird and you see how shady people can be. I wonder if Beyonce and her dad ever thought what that did to the young fans. "Your fav group is really a vehicle to launch the prettiest girl into stardom so if you're average.... good luck with that! And if you speak up you get replaced!" It's ironic Beyonce's songs are all about female empowerment but when the DC girls spoke up about Papa Knowles favouriting Beyonce they were quietly kicked out the group. Some people don't give a sh*t, a lot of the original DC fans won't forget that. So YEAH. There's a difference. You have Beyonce. And you have Destiny's Child. Again, trying to lump them together to forget about the other girls and make Beyonce look good. Where's Kelly Rowland's Legend Award?

There is a CLEAR difference between BEING IN THE GROUP and LEADING THE GROUP.
Most musical groups have some kind of a "leader", so should we say all of them are "vehicles" to launch one particular person's career? The only group I can actually put into that category will probably be PCD, since it's just too obvious.
And don't you even start the whole "being a role model for kids" talk, this is a "career“ we're talking about, at the end of the day, the girls need to get paid. If there was no Beyonce, DC probably wouldn't be nearly as successful, Kelly and Michelle would probably be a lot less accomplished than they are now. It was a business decision, and all the girl were benefited. The end.
Oh haters, you entertain me.

Excuse me but who else deserves to be honored with the Millenium award? It is unfair to compare Beyonce to Mariah...they come from different eras. Beyonce has CONSISTENTLY remained relevant throughout the decade. I'd like to see the haters name someone more deserving of this honor. Easy... Boo, Eminem hands down...then Britney...possibly Usher. Eminem was the best selling ARTIST of the decade and has been more consistent than Beyonce. Britney...has achieved/broken a billboard record with every single album era. Which hasn't been done by any other artist. Eminem would too if his first album didn't debut at #2 smh. I honestly would have loved for Britney to get it but still would have thought Em deserved it first. Congrat to B, though. She won't get it again so it is good promo for her and she did accomplish alot. Plus, Em and Britney will have more chances in the future to add to their amazing accomplishments for when they get it. They will get more #1 album, #1 singles, add to their close to 100M record sales and will add more accolades for when they receive theirs. So it is a win-win. I just had to comment because even Usher might deserve the award before B but there are at least 2 that should have gotten it.
