I just recently aquired a couple of Top 40 Satellite Survey shows from 1985. I thought I would post this chart from 6/14/85 just for comparison sakes against the much slower moving charts these days. Not only did this chart consistently move faster than any other chart at the time, but this particular week was one of the wildest ones during this show's entire run. However, believe or not, there was one even crazier week that occurred about a month later that featured ten debuts, even more songs plummeting clear out of the top 20 from the top 5, and too many double digit jumpers to even count! But this week's was pretty wild as well.
The show's host Dan Ingram apparently did not concentrate as much as he normally did regarding announcing the previous week's rankings as I had to guess 5 of the top 7 and #15 & 16 as well. However the rest are correct, and believe me, there are no typos on this chart! Enjoy!
