My favorite singles from them were "No Surprised" and "Santa Monica'. Don't mind this single, unsure like most of you if they are trying to be ironic with this stuff.

Hot Needtobreathe & 30 Seconds to Mars remakes. Hot Fastball remake. I love TOAD. Is it an embarrassment that you like them?

Well according to most people's opinons of them on here, yeah. But I do love them. I have every one of their albums (1st and 2nd are far better than #3, and probably this one too).

I wouldn't care about people's opinion of your musical taste. It was just that you took New Medicine to the slaughterhouse that bothered me. I like the odd cock-rock song, but Theory of a Deadman just take it too far. They've become intolerable with their cliches and atrociously bad lyrical content.

Well now we can pick at each other about it. New Medicine vs. TOAD?

I honestly don't mind some of TOAD's music too, for some reason. I just seem to like a lot of things.

Don't know if I've already said this but "Make Up Your Mind" off their first album and "Santa Monica" are by far the best tracks by them that I've heard. Wish they would go back to that sorta.
That being said, I've yet to hear this. Judging from comments I can only hope they have something a little deeper on the album.

I think they will, Scars and Souvenirs had real gems like Heaven, By The Way and Sacrifice.

I actually really enjoyed "Wait for Me" as well, as cheesy as it is.

Maybe a little dark, but the single from the last album that featured the lead singer of Daughtry was very decent. Title escapes me this second!

Yeah, I was pissed that "Little Smirk" outpeaked "By the Way."

I was surprised "By the Way" couldn't get higher due to the success of the previous 3 singles.

These guys produce a lot well written songs and then some truly stupid stuff.

On radio it seems, they send most of the "stupid" stuff.

On radio it seems, they send most of the "stupid" stuff. Of course. That's what's marketable to the majority of the world right now.

Maybe, but I almost have to assume that America is the only foreign country that gives this band a shot.

^ So does, Canada, obviously. But no other country really gives a shit, Belgium and the UK are the only countries that they have charted outside of North America.

The UK sort were sort of interested by "Hate My Life" but then just said no thanks. Think it hit the top 100.

Yup, #92.
This should be hitting Top 50 on alternative soon I think.

I'm surprised it hasn't yet, given the singles off the last album had a fair amount of success on the format.
Come to think of it, that Taking Back Sunday song still has yet to reach the Top 50 as well.

Yeah, didn't "So Happy" enter Top 20 on active and Top 40 on alternative in it's first week? Or at least on Billboard...
