Can we just discuss how EPIC the beginning production of this song is? BLARING electronic bass. It's BAMF!

The absolute best song of the album (with TEOG falling close behind).
The Oooooo's on the chorus give life.
Hopefully this becomes a single, honestly it will be a crime if it doesn't.

I like the desensitizing electronic effects following the second chorus especially.
This wouldn't make a satisfactory standard CD-listening kind of track. On a headset, though, or blared in a nightclub, I can see this becoming a fan favorite that will have staying power in live burlesque theater repertoire and as part of a summer dive bar soundtrack.

The production elements at play in this song pretty much blow me away. Totally love the whole vibe and what she did with the melody of this too.

One of the best songs on the album.

I think songs like this, "Electric Chapel" and "Government Hooker" epitomize why "Born This Way" will inevitably be a divisive record among listeners.
Many listeners were probably expecting "Born This Way" to be a record packed, front to back, with large-scale, epic-sounding pop music masterpieces that would function well as radio anthems. But on the other hand, many were probably hoping Lady Gaga would release something more challenging, more avant-garde, more club-centric, and not merely mirror Madonna and Ace of Base track by track.
I think "Heavy Metal Lover" is a track that listeners from the former camp will likely either feel dispassionate about or outright hate. Listeners from the latter camp, on the other hand, probably LOVE this.

This song is what I felt was the connection between The Fame Monster and Born This Way. It reminded me a bit of Dance In The Dark in the production style.

What's the big deal with this song? It's one of my least favorites from the album.

Yeah, this song is hot in all kinds of ways. When it came on I was like "That's the beat at the beginning of the GaGavisions." Which, btw, I was so in love with, and was wondering if that beat had made the album.

It's so nice to finally hear the song that was in the intros to the GaGa vision videos.
This is alright.

Not a big fan of this song. Although I love the line "Dirty pony, I can't wait to hose you down" for some reason.

It's one of my favourite things about Garibay's production, it always feels 'massive' (suitably Gaga) and the bass is killer.

This is basically GaGa's "Breathe On Me". Perfect.

Yeah, I just skip this now. I like hear the beginning and am like "oh this is good" and then by the time I'm any decent way through the song, I'm done with it.

I love the line "I WANT YOUR WHISKEY MOUTH ALL OVER MY BLONDE SOUTH" . That's a good one, but I'm quite partial to "Dirty pony, I can't wait to hose you down"... for me, its the best lyric in the song.

The bridge is absolutely fantastic on this. It has a real early '80s Debbie Harry vibe.

• I want your whisky mouth all over my blond south • Tuna fish all your friends because a group does it better • Oooooooooooooh, heavy metal lover • I could be your girl, girl, girl, girl, girl, girl, would you love me if I ruled the world It's one of the less rememberable tracks on the album but it's really good. My favorite part is the production/beats and the 'I could be your girl 6x' bit. <3

• Tuna fish all your friends because a group does it better I was wondering what she said right there. Too lazy to look in the booklet at the lyrics. What the hell does tuna fish mean? xD

You're right, that's what the booklet says - though it also has an extra verse of Bad Kids that I don't think is on the album.
