Love this house/dance song. The music video is awesome as well. Did really well in the U.S. #14 U.S. Billboard Hot 100 #1 U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Play #7 CHR/POP Chart The song was also used in the Mitsubishi Eclipse commercial. It was one of my favourite songs of 2001. The seven minute-long album version is epic. I love the video too. I still find it completely bizarre that it was a hit in the US, let alone a bigger one than it was in the UK.

It was one of my favourite songs of 2001. The seven minute-long album version is epic. I love the video too. I still find it completely bizarre that it was a hit in the US, let alone a bigger one than it was in the UK. Two factors that it was big in the U.S is the use of this song in the mitsubishi commercial with that cute woman doing those crazy cool dance moves inside the car like the one I posted in the OP. I remember where I use to work they always wondered what the name of that song on the commercial was despite some not knowing much about dance music but liked it. And also it was around this time in the early 2000's in which other house songs like Daft Punk's "One more time", Modjo's "Lady" gained mainstream popularity in the states. It is always a clever idea to use a foreign dance song on a commercial or TV shows. Currently the trident commercial for Martin Solveig & Dragonette's "Hello" has helped the song as well as the promo for the new FOX fall series "New Girl" also helped the song. Despite Duck Sauce's "Barbara Streisand" not getting any CHR/POP radio love, it managed to make it to the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart because of the TV show "Glee" which spiked up Itunes sale.

I know about the commercial, but still, for a song like this to get to #14 on the Hot 100 in 2002 was very unusual.

I always think about the girl in the Mitsubishi commercial who does those robotic dance moves with her arms.

I think the Mitsubishi ads at the time had a lot to do with its U.S. success, but that's no problem, as it was one of my favorite singles in 2002 (when it became a hit in the U.S.).

I liked this, but much preferred the follow-up single, Ghosts. The album was quite lovely at the time.

I don't mind it, but it feels rather bland.

And the album sold very well, although they shifted sounds for the second album and it flopped. Love this song, and the entire first album actually. It's a very cohesive listen.

I'm surprised it was a hit on the Hot AC chart. It seemed too electronic for the format back then.

This was awesome, and example of how house music should be done. EDM artists of today, take note.

I was a huge fan of this one when it came out and I still love it. The video was awesome.
I liked the original long version the most (the 8 minute version) along with the breakbeat styled mix by Paul Oakenfold and the big room mix by Scumfrog. Steve Osborne's acoustic remix was nice too.

This gave the mainstream a shot in the arm. I remember first hearing it on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show and then it exploded with the Mitsubishi ad. Late 90s - early 2000s was a golden era with some amazing tracks.

One of my favorite early 2000s dance tunes. This is one of the songs that come to mind when I used to listen to defunct dance station Energy 92.7/92.5 in the early 2000s. music video www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLCduDJVksc
