Yep. Can't wait for this. As a Maynard Fan boy like i am. Seeing APC on July 15th. I'm happy to see that Puscifer will be touring maybe. And of course Tool is still in the middle of writing.

"Man Overboard," the first single from the album, will be available via iTunes and other digital service providers on July 19.
Hot Blink-182 remake!

This reminds me, I wonder how many people actually know that considering "The Mark, Tom, & Travis Show" was only made on what, 200,000 copies?

I'd forgotten that APC were scheduled to come here next month... and didn't realize it was already sold out ... Maybe I can try to listen to the rock station to see if they end up selling it. I heard they ended up selling more tickets to the show but don't know if that's lasted or how much longer it will. I know this doesn't have anything to do with Maynard's other project, but it was brought to my mind once that came up.

Well considering "Man Overboard" was a #2 hit on Modern Rock/alt, I'm guess the majority of people who listened to alternative rock radio / who listened to Blink 182 even casually 10 years ago know that song.

I wanted new Perfect Circle or Tool. I've never seen Perfect Circle without the initial "A" when referring to the band.

I wanted new Perfect Circle or Tool. I've never seen Perfect Circle without the initial "A" when referring to the band. Haha I was thinking about that when I was typing it. "I wanted new A Perfect Circle" didn't sound right in my head. Anyway, the vocals of James Maynard Keenan are definitely needed on the airwaves, although I doubt it'll be through Puscifer. Active is suffering from a distinct lack of... distinctiveness. Some Tool wouldn't go amiss.

Well, James is actually his first name. "Maynard" was apparently made up and used well before Tool, though none of this is common knowledge. In fact, I never knew, until looking it up just now, where/when he picked up the "Maynard" name or what his middle initial stood for.

Is this the Tool offshoot band that made the weird video with the gigantic chess set? If so, I'm intrigued for this song.

I LOVE Tool, and APC. I am glad that Maynard is still putting out material regardless, if APC or Tool are ready to put out new material.
