Still mad they didn't release Shakin it for daddy...instead they release the flop with snoop I hope he keeps progressing, though.

His label really dropped the ball in regards to capitalizing on the success of The Evolution of Robin Thicke and it's ridiculous how they let the last album down. He actually makes solid, radio-friendly material w/o even trying and they still act clueless when it comes time to promote.

I think part of that was because Something Else didn't really have radio friendly material on it - it was very Hot AC. It was no surprise Sex Therapy was as it was - mainstream as hell.

He's sort of losing his sex appeal for me lately. Not sure what happened. But doing sexy R&B jams is what he was made to do and he needs to really bring it with this album. His eras across the board have been mishandled and messy and all had potential to do more. I'd like a straightforward album with good single choices, is that too much to ask?
"Can You Believe" is still my favorite Robin single though "Lost Without U," "Sex Therapy," and "Magic" are all hot too.

He has ballads on lock down, it's his mainstream uptempos that seem to lack.

Any update on this?
And I would love for Something Else and Sex Therapy to be certified Gold, they must have sold over 450k by this point.

He's been in the studio with Maxwell and Usher. Maxwell confirmed that they're not collaborating on any actual recordings.

Yas!!!!! I hope he comes HARD like he did last time. "Sex Therapy" is one of the best songs he's made.

I just want a good album of slow jams like The Evolution of Robin Thicke. His last album had too many hip-hop tracks and I'm also sick of him doing the bossa nova style songs.

Well his first album was frontloaded with a lot of hip/hop collabos, but the ballads were still pretty bad ass - Jus Fine, Mona Lisa, Brand New Luv, 2 Luv Birds, Sex Therapy. If he can give me more of that plus the midtempos like Diamonds and Million Dolla Baby, we'll be good.
I agree his Bossa Nova stuff is a little out of place for me in any of his albums.

I agree w/ Jazzy. If he could keep it current and not FORCE uptempos down our throats it be more enjoyable. Speaking of his older discography, "2 The Sky" is probably my favorite song by him followed by "Against The World". "The Sweetest Love", "Cry No More", and "Got 2 Be Down" as honorable mentions.

I'm surprised that Angel isn't on your list considering 2 The Sky is your favorite.

There's a new track titled "I'm An Animal" out. Very Stax. I like this. It's a welcome change of sound for him. Not first single material though.

It's a good track. And I feel it's as much borderline not first single material as all of his other first singles.

You see, I told you. His ballads are always on point. "Mission" is a hit! His record label needs to release this as a first single. I think this would do well on Urban and Urban AC radio.

I've accepted that it's impossible for him to top "Sex Therapy" but "Mission" is an AMAZING song. I can ALWAYS count on him for a nice slow jam.

"Lost Without U" is still my favorite song by him. One of the sexiest songs of the last decade.

There's a youtube clip of him singing a snippet of another new song called Pretty Little Heart, or something along those lines. Sounds like a solid song.
