This was my jam in early 2005, and now I'm rediscovering it. Such a fun and addicting song! The video was great too. [On Billboard, it peaked at #12 Hot 100, #19 Pop, #38 R&B/Hip Hop and #1 Dance/Club Play.]

I really liked this, especially the horns.

One of her best video to date. The dance trend at the time wasn't really popular, if she would have released it these days, I think it could have the same success as On The Floor.

I loved it. I recall an alternate version of the Fabolous remix that used a guitar instead of the horn sample.

[On Billboard, it peaked at #12 Hot 100, #9 Pop, #13 R&B/Hip Hop and #1 Dance/Club Play.] Those chart stats are wrong. #19 CHR/Pop and #38 R&B are the correct peaks on those charts. Anyway, I actually think this is one of her best singles and it's a shame it didn't do that well in the US. It's one of her 3 #1s in the UK though and was a Top 10 hit in a lot of other countries.

^I guess that's what I get for being lazy and using Wikipedia. #oop. Fixed.
Oh and not a big fan of the "Pop Mix", the horn sample was one of the things that made it so great. Not that it's a bad mix, though. I do like Louie Vega's Club Mix though.

Definitely one of my favorites from her, the video (especially the ending of it) is cute.

I hated this song, and I found the horns to be beyond annoying. It was like a New Year's drunk performance gone totally bad.

I liked it but it was far from her best IMO.

J Lo was just coming off of a string of hits and this song was so energetic and catchy. I feel like this song did better and is more remembered than it's raido stats show in the US. Those raido stats are boarderlining IIY and I feel like "Get Right" was a bigger hit than that.

I love this song dearly, really. But I can easily see how it can annoy someone. And the remix was hot, too. I haven't heard Rebirth in years, but I remember I used to wear it out. "Whatever You Wanna Do" >>>> I may have to revisit.

This feels like her last relevant big hit. 'On The Floor' is technically her last hit, but we'll see how it holds up in time.
Meanwhile, 'Get Right' is a jam! I remember hearing it everywhere in Italy and it was one of my favorite songs that year.

This song is unlistenable for me and I knew the minute I heard it, it just wasn't going to fly at pop radio.
I'm all for a horn section, a matter a fact, I'm OBSESSED with horns. But the constant looping sax screeching behind her during the verses was just TOO MUCH. Especially with her weak vocals, it completely drowned her out. So basically it just sounded like a goose was being strangled through the whole song with her mumbling over it.
If they had edited the horn sample out of the verses and just let it kick in during the chorus, this would have done much better in the US IMO.

I thought "Thrift Shop" used the same sample, but apparently TS doesn't have a sample?
I kinda like this one, though the sample does get a little too much in spots. Maybe they should have used a little more from the sampled track. As for the video, I like that she did all those different looks.

Still love this. The horns are what grab me to this day.
I was living in Europe when this was out, so in my mind, it counts as one of her big hits. This was at least as big as either of the two big hits from her prior album. If only they hadn't dropped the ball so badly with the second single.

I don't like it and never have. Those horns were total OVERKILL. I did like the choreography, though, and the whole routine with the cane has kind of become a staple in her concerts.
The only tracks I liked from Rebirth were "Cherry Pie," "Whatever You Wanna Do" and "Step Into My World". The latter was sexy. But yeah, that album was a total disappointment to me.

Yeah Rebirth was very hit or miss from what I remember. And I had enjoyed the previous album.
This was my personal favorite. One of Timbaland's better productions before his comeback.

It's all about the Louie Vega Club Mix which took this to the top of the dance charts. It's just right.

100% total jam. One of her best singles. Love the choreography too. Her body in this video is what I'd want my body to be like if I were female.
