It may be too much Rihanna at once... I thought Rihanna should've taken a break by now. She's basically been going non stop for two albums now.

I thought by now the whole "[insert artist name] should take a break" thing would be put to rest seeing as it's been proven time and time again that that is the only way to stay in the game today. Gone are the days when it was advised that artists take a break from music between projects. That said, dnw this.

...Artists *should* take breaks between music projects. The whole "overexposed" thing is greatly exaggerated on this board, but I do think there's such a thing as too much of one artist at one time. Not to mention it's not healthy for the artists' mental health...

This song's been out since last Novemer and the video was shot earlier this year. Rihanna hasn't done anything with it in a while and besides a few performances (maybe?) she won't have to do much with this song. Radio listeners will not care either way. And besides, it's still Nicki's song.

Not the strongest track on 'Pink Friday' but this should so something on the charts based only on the name of Nicki and Riri

Not to mention it's not healthy for the artists' mental health... lol how is one of her songs from last year being sent to radio considered bad on her mental health? Obviously there's a big demand for Rihanna at pop radio, I don't see the problem fulfilling that demand. And most artists/bands used to release 1-2 albums per year back in the 60s and 70s, as a healthy 23 year old, Rihanna's mental health is fine

People have been saying Rihanna overload, overexposure etc. since 2008.
Radio and the general public clearly cannot get enough of her. I would like for them to wait until Cheers gets closer to peaking before they send this out though.

Perfect timing...will pick up steam in late Sept/Oct will peak around November/December for the holiday sales...this song will do.what right thru.me, check it out, did it on em, your love, moment for.life, and Superbass didn't do...should drive the album to double platinum by January.

I see this reaching Top 5 on both Urban and Rhythmic. It has a good chance of reaching Top 10 on Pop just off the success of Super Bass.

In 2 1/2 weeks this will be sent to Rhythmic, where Super Bass has already peaked 2 weeks ago, so the timing isn't really an issue.
BTW, Pink Friday would need to average about 24k a week from now to sell 2 million by January. Not happening.

It's a cute song. I'm indifferent in my feelings to how it performs.

I just think the idea that artists shouldn't take breaks ever is kinda silly.

You only need to ship not sell 2 million copies to go 2x platinum. I love how you throw shade and still don't know what you are talking about. Gurl, bye. Take several seats...and think about what you just did. LOL.
