That's awesome to see it doing well without hearing about it at all. Did anything off his last record even hit the top 50? I remember one or two of the songs had a thread on a here. And I remember liking one of them a lot, but can't remember what it's called.

I usually root for Everlast, but for whatever reason, this time around the downtrodden blue-collar lyrics feel like he's become a caricature of himself. Frankly, I'm shocked it's already on the Alternative chart.

I should mention, my excitement here was at the name Everlast being on the chart. I haven't heard this song yet.

I don't like this song at all. I agree that he's becoming a caricature.

This sucks. What the hell happened to his voice?

I think alternative stations are taking a chance on this 1) because of the recent success of AWOLNATION (and sonically this is similar in that it has a similar track albeit with a faster tempo and the vocals are similarly grating) and 2) the fact that '90s artists artists in general, including those who didn't get a free pass this past decade, have done well on alternative as of late. And Noel Gallagher should see some success as well for this 2nd reason.

The title of this single is hilariously unintentional given the artist's track record with singles since "What It's Like"! ;)
Namaste, lisping HIBISCUS

This isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, but surely a step down from his previous material. Radio's probably just giving this a chance because he had some success in the past. Hell, I still hear "What It's Like" at least twice a month on the radio and I rarely listen anymore.

I'm surprised that this appears to be doing better than "If I Had A Gun". Don't get me wrong, this is good, but I felt much more strongly that "If I Had A Gun" was gonna be a hit than this on first listen, and further listens have only further cemented that feeling for me.
