Cover of the ZZ Top classic, which is to be featured on the upcoming "ZZ Top: A Tribute from Friends" album. Filter haven't hit the top 40 with their last 5 singles, so I struggle to see how this could break that duck. It goes for adds on September 20th, nevertheless.

This is thoroughly creepy. I do not see this doing anything either.

This is thoroughly creepy. You mean thoroughly awesome. The two are not mutually exclusive. I consider myself simultaneously creepy and awesome. ;)

This is.... interesting. I'm not sure that Richard Patrick's vocals were the best to remake this, but I can't say it's really bad either. They haven't had a song peak in the Top 40 since "Soldiers of Misfortune" so I really don't expect this to do anything either.

Meh. It doesn't suck but it's not great either. Reminds me of Buckcherry.

This isn't as cringe-worthy as their "Happy Together" cover, but really, they should stick to their own stuff.

Right, so "No Love" missed the chart completely, but this is already in the top 50 with a steady-ish bullet.

Well, I think timing and promotion are both big parts of it. My guess is that if "No Love" were the lead single their last era, it would have at least gone top 40, something that "The Inevitable Relapse" failed to do, and this will also likely fail to do.

I like this better than the original. Ducks. That said, this is not the direction I really want Filter to go in. Whats Next is still their best song and I wish they were still going in that vein.
