Every Lana concert I watch, the entire crowd sings EVERY SINGLE WORD and is so into her performance. I would be in tears if I were her. This is so true. I've been to many concerts, even to some of those of Pulse's favorite divas, and I've never witnessed such a thing as I did in the Lana concert I've been a couple of months ago. Literally, every single person was singing throughout the whole concert; even to the non-singles one would think weren't as popular as her biggest songs. Definitely one of the best evenings of my life.

I've been to MANY concerts and the crowd only sings along when the artist asks them to. I can't wait to see her live, because I will DEFINITELY be singing "Blue Jeans", "Dark Paradise", "Born To Die", "Young & Beautiful", "Without You" and "Body Electric" at the top of my lungs.

Idk where this came from, but after always being super bored by Lana's music (barring a couple singles), I've become obsessed with both Born to Die and Paradise over the past few days. Like, literally on repeat all day long. It's weird.
But i'm now really excited for Tropico too.
I've become an overnight stan. ...What is happening to me?

You've got winter sadness ... :)
Actually, At the beginning I did not even wanna hear about her! On the French forum, everyone was about Lana and it got on my nerves to read about Lana everywhere Bien sur, I listened to French radio stations where they played Lana beaucoup... and slowly Video Games got into my head Then Blue Jeans then Born To Die and that was it! I suddenly became a huge fan! Bought a cd in Barcelona - deluxe version and... the rest is history

I discovered Lana on ATRL last year January because her name came up in nearly EVERY thread. Never gave her music a chance until I went to a camp retreat and all the boys were raving about her. Once I heard "Young & Beautiful", I understood the hype. That is the song that made me a fan.

I liked "Video Games," "Young & Beautiful" and the Cedric Gervais remix of "Summertime Sadness" but never enjoyed her whole album and found it too boring. And now I'm on my second listen to Born to Die just today. I'm so late to the party too. All the other gays have been on her bandwagon for 2 years now. :'(

When I first read an article about her and her music I thought she'd be French and a cheap Adele rip-off. Then I watched the Born To Die video (was also the first time I heard the song) and was mesmerised. Fan since December 2011.

I heard "Video Games" and wasn't blown away. "Blue Jeans", "Summertime Sadness" and "Young & Beautiful" were instant for me. I never realized just how popular she was until I started studying her career graph. I streamed BTD and Paradise on Google Play the entire summer before I purchased the physical albums. Paradise took a while to grow on me, "Body Electric" won me over.

The film was...interesting I guess, but not all that.
Her voiceovers were really annoying and came off as a self parody, I LOLd when she said "nipples" cause it sounded so awkward, and also when she started talking about LA. The scenes with the strippers was more explicit than I had hoped, but that whole middle part seemed really dragged out in general which is what holds it down. The dancing during the Garden Of Eden scene also came off as cheesy.
The final section of them in the field during Bel Air though is absolutely stunning, I couldn't tear my eyes off the screen during that. I wish that whole part had been longer.
