Delta is making her US debut by way of Columbia Records. "Lost Without You" goes for adds on June 27. It has been slightly remixed for US radio.

This is the only song by her I like, and I like it a lot. In other words, I'm glad they chose this as the single.

I certainly hope it does something. There's really no promise here.
Let's just hope Delta Goodrem doesn't become another false hope Robbie Williams or Anastacia international superstar crossover story.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Sincerely, Noah Eaton this is my favourite song of hers. it will be interesting to see how it performs. i thought all her other singles are crap ! P.S you need to listen to: darren hayes (lead singer of Savage Garden) rendition of 'Lost Without You'. he performed it as a tribute to Delta at the ARIA awards. Amazing version (i think its better than delta's)

It'll be interesting to see if this song does anything here in the US.
I would much prefer something by Missy Higgins, however.

Didn't Missy Higgins already get pushed to Hot AC? I'm sure she went for adds, cant remember if she charted or with which song.

I've only heard Born To Try, which I thought was appaling. But if you say this is her best song, I think I'll give it a try. Link?

I agree, with someone who said earlier, this is basically her only good song. Oh, and maybe her duet with Brian.

Delta Goodrem is absolutely enormous in Australia. Her first four singles went to #1. The first and second singles from her sophomore album have also gone to #1. Her debut album Innocent Eyes is one of the Top 20 best selling albums of all time in Australia.

Old Delta!

Delta was scheduled to perform Lost Without You at the ARIA awards. However, she was unable to perform because she was undergoing Chemotherapy at the time (for her hodkins lymphoma cancer) However, she did attend the event (although she was unable to sing because the chemo affected her voice)

This is a great song. The new version sounds almost the same so I guess that's a good thing.

Wow this is a good. I remember you guys braggin abt her alot. Then I downloaded a few tracks from Mistaken Identity and thought she was crap. This is actually really good. It has alot of potential maybe even at Pop.

This version has some small modifications (I can hear more guitar), but I think they would be more audible in a better quality audio. I do think they make it more American radio friendly. hopefully this is a hit on A.C., but it's a hard road for the vast majority of younger non-established artists to be successful on AC unless their song is already a huge hit on Pop and/or Hot AC, and unfortunately I see this song doing nothing at either. AC is it's best shot.
I already have this album downloaded, but I guess i'll be buying the U.S. version :)

See, I can actually see this doing really well... I know people are expecting her to flop but I'd love if she surprised everyone. Songs like this have been coming back, the rock ballad stuff.

Her first 6 singles went to #1.... 5 of which were from her debut album. The first and third singles from her sophomore album also went to #1. So she has 7 #1's in total

Aussie singer/songwriter Delta Goodrem joins a short list of entertainers with the goods to endure for as long as she chooses. U.S. debut single "Lost Without You" is a powerful, piano-driven anthem with super-glue hooks, radiant vocals and tempo-flourishing acoustic production. At home, Goodrem is the most acclaimed new female singer in history: seven No. 1 singles and eight Australian Record Industry Assn. Awards, all in little more than a year. Now, after nearly as long in development stateside, Columbia launches this tigress of talent. She's gorgeous and graceful, youthful and she writes and plays . . . boy, is the United States primed for a true, gimmick-free talent. Welcome 2005's best new artist. —Chuck Taylor

So i don't really see her having any longevity without a strong follow-up.

I love the dance mix of "Born To Try". Other than that, I'm not completely sold on any of her other singles. I don't hate any of them though.

I have a club mix of "Lost Without You" as well...it's OK...I could have sworn it was also Graham Stack (who remixed "Born To Try". I love the US radio version. It's on itunes right now! They are using different cover art though...anyone know the US tracklisting yet? I know it's going to be songs from both her albums...

Either she's going to have a sleeper hit or her US breakthrough has failed. It got 9 adds this week which got her fourth most added.
