KROQ just added it. It's off the Seasick EP. Potential single?
I like it. Kinda reminds me of Metric.

I saw it got adds at KNDD and AltNation. This is the first time I've heard it. Very Metric sounding at the beginning. I really like it.

I'll rescue this topic from getting locked.... A Billboard.biz update from last week had a January adds date for this song.

This song is just a B-side to the Seasick single...interesting they'd add this but not Seasick.

Even if its a b-side, its better than most groups A-side releases lately....

I heard it first on AltNation last week at work and I really thought it was Metric until I looked at who it was. I remember it sounding pretty good, but have only heard it once since then. Hopefully they'll play it at some point tomorrow.

I do like it. I haven't heard Seasick yet, however. So I can't really compare. Looking forward to the next full length.

"Seasick" is a non-radio friendly song that trods on for 6 minutes from what I recall. This was the better choice.

Even if its a b-side, its better than most groups A-side releases lately.... Agreed. It's not better than "It's Nice to Know You Work Alone" & "There's No Secrets This Year," though. It is a bit weird that they're releasing this when they have a new album in the pipeline.

I decided to check out the three songs on the Seasick EP. This was easily my least favorite. Not that I dislike this song, but "Seasick" and "Ribbons & Detours" are both really beautiful and intense so "Broken Bottles" just feels dwarfed emotionally by the epicness of the other two, especially "Seasick". A radio edit of "Seasick" would have been a better bet in my opinion. The album versions of "Lazy Eye" and "Panic Switch" were both really long and those did plenty well for the band. I'll give all three songs another spin soon because I wanna like "Broken Bottles" so I can vote for it in the weekly countdown. :) So far it's looking like I'll be voting for "Seasick"...or rather "Seasick".
