Presumably the follow-up to "Monster You Made" judging by the amount of airplay its receiving. I would've gone for "Broken & Betrayed," but this one will definitely appeal to the cock-rock crowd, so it may well score them another hit.

Basically songs about having drunken one night stands, bad breakups, etc. Then going in great lengths to describe the situation throughout the song. See Hinder, Saving Abel, newer Theory of a Deadman, Puddle of Mudd, My Darkest Days, certain newer songs by Nickelback, and more. This song certainly fits into that category.

I'd say more along the lines of Kiss and The Rolling Stones. And Kings Of Leon when they finally broke through.

Do I even need to hear this? Especially considering it's a Pop Evil song?

Do I even need to hear this? Especially considering it's a Pop Evil song? Think of Shinedown making the most half-assed cock-rock song you could make. Actually, that's probably what you already had in mind.

Actually, that's probably what you already had in mind. A better comparison would be Nickelback's latest cock-rock songs. This sounds very similar to "Midnight Queen."

Ugh, I'm over rock songs with the same lyrics. Not a fan of this at all.

"This Means War" is so much better than "Bully."

"This Means War" is so much better than "Bully." That's probably true. "Bully" has good intentions and sounds good, but the lyrics are so nursery rhyme-y, I think Ivan Moody wrote them. And "This Means War" is a positive outlier among Nickelback's recent work, so the point of being compared to recent Nickelback being a bigger diss than being compared to Shinedown still stands.

3 straight top 10s. I think they should release a fourth single. If they do, I'd go with Let It Go

their album is full of potential hits, i would go for "Purple" or "Broken & Betrayed". "Let It Go" is one of my favorite pop evil songs ever but i guess it won't have that success on rock radio

I think "Broken & Betrayed" would help gain them some much needed credibility after this monstrosity.
