From #8: Beauty Of Simplicity/Telecast
Hmm, could we be returning to psycho charts? Two weeks ago, Telecast's latest took a healthy eight-spot move to number nine. After moving up one last week, it's gone?? True, it was sort of dog-paddling on the chart during its first few weeks, but come on! Well, maybe it'll return next week. We'll have to wait and see.
Tree63 is still hanging in there in their 30th week with "Blessed Be Your Name". Three more weeks and they'll tie Matthew West's "More" for longest running song. Can they make it? Well, if not for the fact that so many songs unexpectedly drop off the chart from well inside the Top Ten, I'd say sure, but you never know.
Casting Crowns continue to fall with "Who Am I". Last week, the song took an enormous drop from two to ten. I figured it might stay in the Top Ten for another week, but it does not. I didn't think for a minute that Jeff Deyo and Trevor Morgan would resurge like they did. And a week ago, I was talking about the fact that they looked to be on their way down the chart! Go figure.
All in all, an interesting week on 20: The Countdown Magazine. We'll see how things pan out next week.
