Not sure if it's the lead single, but it's better than another TBA. Since they didn't release their last album in the US, I'm not sure what treatment this album is going to receive.

Hot New Found Glory remake!
Anyway, I'm really anticipating what their new material sounds like. I haven't been entirely impressed with their stuff since "Start Something," but it feels like it's been a very very long time since they've been in the rock spotlight.

It feels like it's been a very very long time since they've been in the rock spotlight. Well yeah, since 2006, when "Rooftops" was only modestly successful and "The New Transmission" barely scraped the chart. I hate that The Betrayed never got an American release. :( I still have to shell out way too much money for the Japanese/Korean import just to the get the bonus tracks mixed into the album in its intended order, in order to own an official copy of the record, which was yet another solid addition to their catalog. Sounds like I might get stuck buying another import this time too. *sigh*

I think they're on a record label in the US now, so this should get a release here.

This kicks major ass. Love it. I think this is first time I've heard Ian attempting to rap (if you want to call that rapping). It has an awesome edge and to it and the guitar towards the end is great.

Yeah, this song is really good. I liked a lot of songs on "The Betrayed", but there were also a lot of songs I didn't care for. Hopefully this album can produce less filler material.

I like it okay enough (you're right about the guitars at the end being fun to rock out to if nothing else), but this is nowhere near as creative as the standouts on their first two albums, especially The Fake Sound Of Progress. This sounds like it'd fit on Start Something, which I imagine is what most people here are looking for. Their debut album is by far my personal favorite and the only one that I own.

I'd consider buying Start Something, but honestly it was such a deliberate departure from the edginess of their first album to a more commercial sound that it just feels calculated to make some dough and not genuine, even if some of the songs are very good.

I thought Start Something was the more complete effort compared to Fake Sound. I heard "Shinobi vs. Dragon Ninja" on a college radio station in South Dakota, and was into that enough to buy and enjoy the Fake Sound record. But I was all in on Lostprophets after "Last Train Home" was released, and the song climbing all the way to #1 was most likely my favorite and most memorable chart moment of the entire decade.

Where can I view the gold airplay charts? :)
And this isn't bad. Not exactly sure how I feel about it yet though.

Honestly, I go back to Fake Sound now and find that I only really like maybe half of that album. It was great at the time, but very few of the songs hold up for me.

Eh, I liked the other song better. They always seem to release the wrong song as the first single.
