Thank you TONS for posting this sir!
Sounds like something off of "Lies for the Liars" I like it. Extremely eager to hear the rest of the new material.

While emo (much like nu-metal) gets a lot of often times well-deserved hate, The Used have always been a unique band than is way more talented than general emo-bashers would ever give them credit for. Their first album especially was very strong. The songwriting, vocals, instrumentation, and production were all superb. I can't say I'm a fan of most of the lyrics, but I'll maintain that "Poetic Tragedy" is one of the most beautiful songs recorded in the last decade.

I agree that they unfairly get written off and dismissed due to the short commercial shelf life of the scene they were grouped with, when their musical talent runs deeper than they get due credit for.
Their first record was great and most of their fans contend it's still the best one. I was floored by In Love and Death, though, and consider it their masterpiece. Inevitably, I struggled to keep my expectations rational and objective for Lies for the Liars, although it sure didn't help that I ultimately found it to be their weakest album by far, though I still do enjoy it fine. I was so relieved when I took to Artwork right away and loved it. It was such a good feeling to know they still had me just as much as ever.

These guys are now on Hopeless as well, so I'm wondering how this will do.

Easily their first two albums will be ones that I'll be listening to 20 years from now. 'A Box Full of Sharp Objects' is still one of my favorite all-time songs. I agree that they took a bit of a dropoff as I have been a bit disappointed with the last two, but still respectively give them credit for who they are as a band. I feel like now is a complete fresh start for them on a new label, which is why I'm so eager to hear what this new album sounds like.

A lot of stations will probably book The Used for their Spring/Early Summer festival shows so this will probably get some decent airplay
