I was hoping for "Cold Hearted" or "I Play The Road", but this a good choice. I can see them getting a fifth #1 with this.

I think I finally smell someone getting five #1 songs from one album!

Wouldn't have been my first choice, but a good song nonetheless. I'm partial to I Play The Road and Let It Go, but this song is probably more artistic than those two, and I can't fault them for going against the more radio-friendly options (though frankly, I think radio would play just about anything from them right now).

The obvious choice, imo. Other than ASWA and CW, this is my favorite from the album.

To me, the best songs have definitely already been released. But this is still pretty good. I'm sure that that Holly who used to post here would be thrilled, since James Otto co-wrote this, lol I think I would've rather seen "I Play The Road" get released too. And I might've even preferred "Let It Go" over this, though the 2 songs are pretty much neck and neck in my mind. I'm very excited for new music from these guys, but until then, I hope they can finally be the ones to pick up 5 Billboard #1's from one album.

Excellent choice! I was hoping for either this or Let It Go. I Play The Road would have been a pretty good choice too. This album is just solid! I wore this album out in the fall of 2010 when it came out. I haven't listened to it in a while. I might have to.
On an unrelated note, I can't believe Keep Me In Mind stayed #1 so long! Timing was a large part of it, but 4 weeks is still amazing. It's funny because that song wasn't among my favorite ones, but it grew on me big time during its single run.
Anyway, I definitely see another #1 here, making it 5 #1's from a single album finally! Carrie came SO close to doing it with I Told You So, and she should have (stupid Sugarland and It Happens!). Unless something crazy like that happens with No Hurry, it should happen with the Zac Brown Band. It'll be very deserved too.

"Keep Me In Mind" was #1 for 4 weeks on both charts, but I agree, it really grew on me too. These guys are so hot right now, I bet "Let It Go" and "I Play The Road" could also be #1 hits if they were released.

^Whoops. For some reason, I was thinking it had managed to stay #1 for another week, but David Nail made it to #1. It shows I haven't been paying very much attention to the charts lately lol.
And, you are probably right about that. They're hot, and the album is full of hits. I can't believe they haven't won Group of the Year at the award shows yet.

It's only a matter of time (probably about sixteen weeks, eighteen tops) before this group achieves the unprecedented modern feat of five number-one hits from a single album.
Either this or "Let It Go" (probably "I Play The Road" as well) would have worked splendidly. And now, we just have to play the waiting game.

Hmm. Not sure what to think. I do like this song, but I was hoping, and still do, that "Let It Go" becomes a single, too. Maybe it will if this peaks quickly (at the end of March or beginning of April).

When I listened, this had the vibe of one of Clint Black's early hits, back when he was cranking out #1 after #1 song. The fiddle, the overall arrangement, and the subject matter all remind me of Clint, although of course the voices are different.
Hard for me to see what would keep this one away from #1. And, after tying Crowell's record, it would have to be tempting to release a 6th single and try to break that record.
This isn't going to peak by late March or early April, though. 5th singles don't go up like that, and pretty much nothing else does either.

Nope this isn't the 90s anymore. Back then you could cycle 3 singles in the time it takes for one now. I don't understand why, there was a large amount of artists competing back then too just as today. I wish more artists could get 5-6 singles off albums quickly like they used to be able to.

I think Kenny's When The Sun Goes Down was the last album to have 6 singles. So yeah, it's been a while.
This will probably peak sometime in June, so I doubt there will be any time for a 6th single if they're hoping for a Fall 2012 album release. It's sad though, because as I said earlier in this thread, "Let It Go" or "I Play The Road" would both have a pretty good shot at hitting #1.

Yeah, I wanted to hear "Let It Go" on the radio more than anything else actually, but I'm sure I'll warm up to "No Hurry" like I did with "Keep Me In Mind". It's (NH) a pretty decent song last time I listened to it. I actually see this reaching its peak between the end of April and the beginning of May, but who knows? This hasn't even debuted yet, I don't think.

They just can't put out a bad song. I've liked all 10 of their singles so far and both albums are incredible. I'm excited for new music in 2012.

It hasn't debuted on Billboard yet, and 5th singles usually take their time climbing the chart. I'd say the quickest it could take is a 20 week chart run, and that already puts us in mid June.

But that was because Curb was being selfish, not because the album was actually good enough to release 7 singles from. And a few of these were somewhat flops (for superstar Tim standards) if I remember correctly.

Maybe it will debut on the 1/28 chart in the 50's...but it's not being sent to radio until Tuesday. It could chart early, but if it doesn't, it could debut close to the top 40 on the 2/4 chart. I don't think this will take 20 weeks to hit the top, though. Maybe 20 weeks total, but I'd say it peaks after 16-18 weeks (meaning it would get a few more weeks in the top 10 before going recurrent, which would get it to 20 weeks total or more for a chart run). "Free" only charted for 19 weeks. It hit #1 in its 16th or 17th week, I believe. "As She's Walking Away", of course, climbed faster because it was a lead single. That one charted for a total of 19 weeks, but hit #1 in its 13th week and spent its 14th week there too. "Colder Weather" was also on the chart for only 19 weeks total, spending weeks 16 & 17 at #1. "Knee Deep" spent 20 weeks total on the chart, but hit #1 in its 16th week. Now "Keep Me In Mind" is set to spend probably 23 weeks total on the chart, but it hit #1 in its 17th week there, and stayed there for weeks 18-20, too. I know "No Hurry" is a 5th single and won't go up quite as fast, but these guys always seem to go up fast, and I really wouldn't be surprised to see this hit #1 in the 16-18 week range..

Yeah, I meant 20 weeks for its total chart run, as most of their previous songs have spent 19 or 20 weeks on the chart. Say it takes a typical 17 weeks to reach #1, spends a weeks or two there, and then starts falling... we're already into June.

I've just finalized a review of this single, which should be up on Country Universe very soon.
I make it no secret that I consider this their weakest single to date (note I said "weakest", not "worst", in that I still consider "Chicken Fried" their worst single to date, but there's no kidding ourselves in that it directly engaged to countless listeners in a way "No Hurry" won't achieve in the longer run, so to say it is their weakest would surely be a falsified claim)
This is the first single of this album I would rate a "Thumbs Down" if The 9513 were still around, and only the second overall.

#20 in its sixth week, and should move up a few spots next week. They'll pass Scotty McCreery, and a few songs will go recurrent. Jason Aldean will likely move ahead of them, but they could still move up to #15, depending on how many songs go recurrent. #16 is more likely, though.
I think they have an excellent shot at achieving 5 #1s with the single, as long as Jason Aldean doesn't block them.

I agree; it'll probably take another 10-12 weeks, but I do expect this great tune to get to #1.
Insofar as Tim's 'Let It Go' CD is concerned, some of the choices for singles were just terrible, and it gets my vote as the most horrendously marketed CD by a format megastar (as it relates to choices for singles) in recent memory.

I just went and saw ZBB in concert the other night at the Houston rodeo. They put on a terrific show, and they played a few songs from their upcoming summer album. The first single is upbeat and fun and won't disappoint at radio I'm sure. As far as No Hurry is concerned, it's really growing on me and agree that it will probably continue the #1 streak.

I'm still thinking this will ultimately go #1, but I will say it's in "No Hurry", in relation to their other singles this album cycle, in moving upward toward the summit. Since moving into the Top Twenty, this has slowed down noticeably. It still maintains a healthy bullet, but it's interesting to see Jason Aldean leapfrog the Zac Brown Band, when they were infamous recently for blocking Aldean's previous single from the top spot. At least the chart pace of this single is consistent with its title! If it had continued to move up a la "Knee Deep" or "Keep Me In Mind", I would have declared "BS!" ;) Namaste, lisping HIBISCUS
