"Before He Cheats" is the oldest song in the top 10, isn't it? That sales number is even more impressive when you consider that digital downloading in 2005/2006 wasn't anywhere near as common as it is today.

^plus the fact that the album that "Before He Cheats" is on sold over 7 million copies putting it at about 11 million purchases of the song

Carrie was the top played female artist on Country radio for 2013 (ninth overall). Pretty sure that's her 7th time topping that list, missing 2011's top spot to Miranda Lambert. Amazing.

I feel like FGL's "Cruise" shouldn't count, but okay...
BHC is the most impressive on the list. It being the oldest speaks volumes!

Where are those photos from? The first is a promotional image for her nail polish line and the second is an outtake from The Blown Away Tour™ photo-shoot.

I agree, but ironically, it doesn't translate during award season. She released 4 great songs, all number ones, a platinum album, (again), one single a Grammy winner, yet her genre voters pay no attention. She's argueably the best female singer in country music, but yet again, it's like she's not even there. Even Miranda, the perpetual winner seems to shake her head knowing who the real winner should be. It's embarrassing really.

She'll be headlining the first-ever iHeartRadio Country Festival in Austin, Texas on March 29, 2014 with Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan. Other participants include Lady Antebellum, Eric Church, Hunter Hayes, Jake Owen, Dan + Shay...and Florida Georgia Line.

Taylor Swift won the PCA for "Favorite Country Artist"... Kinda getting anxious for some news from Carrie! I know we're a ways off, but I hope she gets started working on her new album soon because It has been less than a month since TSOF and I'm already getting impatient!

We had some duets here and there, but if she's already back to work/getting back to work, I'm sure she'll probably be in the studio no later than May or June-ish, depending on how much she plans on writing this winter/spring.

I was sure she'd take some time off between Blown Away and album #5 to start a family, but that would be great if an album comes out in 2014.

I'm almost sure she'll release her 5th album in late 2014 with first single in June/July. With Mike talking retirement, babies can't be too far off. Maybe 2016.

Yep. I'm thinking babies will come around after this next album cycle, which I'll be content with.

With Mike's recent comments about possibly retiring after next season, I wouldn't be surprised if he and Carrie start their family then. So I think we'll get one more album and tour out of Carrie before she becomes a mom. I also think Carrie will likely be getting some advice from her good friend Hillary Scott on how to balance both parenthood and road life, as Hillary has her little one out on tour with her right now.

Well that's a bit easier for Hillary Scott since her husband is the drummer of the band, so both her and her daughter's father are there all the time. Obviously their situations are not identical. But once Mike retires perhaps he'll be able to travel with Carrie. I think that's a large part of why they likely won't have kids until Mike retires, because right now both of them travel separately so often. But once Mike is no longer a full-time NHL player, him and Carrie will be able to spend a lot more time together. Of course, I could easily see Carrie taking a few years off the road and just spending time at home with her new family. But if she chooses to continue touring, Hillary (and others, including Brad and Kim) would likely have some good advice for her.

Here is Sony's ACM "For Your Consideration" ad for Carrie, which was apparently in Country Weekly:

Makes more sense for it to be in Country Aircheck than in the Country Weekly magazine. Now we can only hope the voters take notice.

Now we can only hope the voters take notice. Ahhh, but they won't. I'll be shocked if she's nominated for anything more than Female Vocalist. Of course, however, Carrie WOULD score more nominations in a year no one expects any at all. We'll see, but I'm certainly not holding my breath! The ad is quite impressive, though. They should end it with, "mind you, this is a 'quiet' year for Carrie"... ... Another note: Carrie's is the only FYC ad not to have her name included at all... I find that pretty interesting; too many achievements and accolades that there simply wasn't enough room for the girl's name!

I will note, however, that the only other artists to include EOTY in their FYC ad in this issue of Country Aircheck are George Strait (who will for sure get the nod) and Tim McGraw (who has been snubbed in the past, so who knows). Carrie is the only artist in this week's Billboard Country Update to include EOTY in their FYC ad. That said, I'm sure there will be more FYC ads in the next issues. I'm curious to find out how many EOTY nominees the ACMs will have this year, as it seems to change every year.

Pretty impressive resume on that ad. It has to get the voters attention.

That ad was in tonight's Billboard Country Update issue as well.
Quick question: Does anyone here know what "The HQ" means in the bottom left corner of that pic? Usually the only logos included in ads like this are for the record companies and sometimes they include management companies as well.

I did some searching and everything that's turning up is related to Carrie's manager, Ann Edelblute, so I'm guessing it's the more immediate branch of her management? Not really sure though, I hadn't heard of it 'til tonight.

Pretty impressive resume on that ad. It has to get the voters attention. The CMA ads were far more eye-catching, and there were 3 different ones published, too. This won't get voters attention, but FVOTY will probably be a lock.
