carrieidol1, I think Emma said, a couple pages back, that she is in a wheel chair. I hope I'm remembering that right.

^ There's no way Forever Changed will be a single since Carrie kept saying she can't perform it live. Exactly. "Blown Away" will definitely be a single, as I'm pretty sure Carrie already filmed the music video for it. "Two Black Cadillacs" is another one of the darker, more epic songs on the album, and it's a Carrie co-write. I can definitely see it as a single at some point. "One Way Ticket" is a perfect summer song, and unlike anything Carrie has ever recorded before. She needs a song like this as a single, and it's a co-write, which gives it a better chance at being a single. "Cupid's Got A Shotgun" is the perfect country song for Carrie, and the critics will love it. Again, it's a co-write and a great uptempo. I definitely think these will be the singles. "Forever Changed" will not be released, because Carrie said again at the listening party that we'll never hear it live. Unless she surprises us, I doubt it gets released. I think "Wine After Whiskey" could unfortunately be the "I Know You Won't" or "Someday When I Stop Loving You" of this album - the song that is great lyrically, and a fan-favorite, but doesn't get a single release. I chose "Nobody Ever Told You" as a potential single release, because it has a very light and happy feel, and it's pretty catchy. I could definitely imagine it on the radio. But if there's only going to be 5 singles from this album (with "Good Girl" obviously already being the first), then I definitely see the 4 I mentioned being released over this song. This is how I'd like for the singles to go: 1) Good Girl (already released, current single) 2) One Way Ticket - this is the PERFECT summer song, and there is not another Carrie song like this. You feel like you're on the beach with Carrie, and it definitely has that Zac Brown Band feel as mentioned in the past. Carrie could really benefit from a song like this as a single, and it would be a really huge summer hit. Releasing it next after GG would be perfect. Just a great, laid-back, feel-good song. One of my favorites from the album, and one of my new favorite Carrie songs period. 3) Blown Away - epic song, and I'm sure the video will be too. This would be great to be released at the end of summer, in time for it to peak in the Fall. It would be a great 3rd single, bringing something darker after the happy first 2 singles in GG and OWT. 4) Cupid's Got A Shotgun - The hardcore country fans will love this. It'll bring something more fun again after the incredibly dark "Blown Away". It has a Miranda Lambert "Gunpowder & Lead" feel to it, and this will be another huge hit for Carrie. 5) Two Black Cadillacs - This tells a great story, and is a great co-write from Carrie. I'd imagine the video for this could potentially be just as dramatic and epic as I'm imaging the one for "Blown Away" to be. I really, really loved so many other songs on the albums, some even more than the ones I listed above. These include, "Do You Think About Me", "See You Again", "Nobody Ever Told You", "Wine After Whiskey", and "Who Are You". I just happen to think that the songs I listed as singles in bold above would be the best for Carrie to release as far as radio airplay, music video possibilities, critical acclaim, and awards go. So excited for this album. Several songs have been stuck in my head since hearing the album yesterday, and they keep changing. I was Blown Away indeed. ;)

FYI, if anyone missed it I capped Carrie's segment on tonight's Fox special. It's on my site.

So just going with the 30 seconds clips and the reviews a lot of people have posted in here, I agree with the single choices you made, they seem the strongest and most representative set of songs on the album. However, I'd change the order a little bit. 1. Good Girl 2. Blown Away (Intense, smash single, different, critical acclaimed) 3. One Way Ticket (Summery, laid back, fun) 4. Two Black Cadillacs (Intense, story driven, dark but following a summery fun song) 5. Cupid's Got a Shotgun (End the era with a bang, true country song)

If you go to the Royal Albert Hall site and look up the date, it's already booked for something else... Those shows happen elsewhere within the venue, not the auditorium.

Ant, I totally agree with your single choices, esp. OWT. That has been stuck in my head since I first heard it. Not to mention, the lyrics are super goofy, but in a good way. It's honestly one of my favorite co-writes off the album, too.

Yes, I agree it is a very prestigious venue and I think very fitting for Carrie. Talk about being introduced in style to the British public.

OMG, the new clips sound so incredible!!!
"Headlights shinin' bright in the middle of the day, one for his wife, the other for the woman who loved him that night." EPIC.
Carrie's vocals on BA are beyond perfect- damn.
I LOVE the Vulnerability in her vocals on "Forever Changed." Her ability to convey her emotions on record has become a major strength for her over the past two albums, IMO.
"Nobody Ever Told You" sounds so fun and laid-back; I'm loving the two clips we've heard so far. This one's probably gonna beat out AAG as my go-to feel-good Carrie song.
Her vocals on "Good In Goodbye-" Wow!!
That 'Cupid' clip grabbed me more than the first one did- it sounds so redneck and country, I love it.
She's gonna make me cry with 'Hometowns.' Her voice sounds so emotional just from those small clips.
'Wine After Whiskey' once again sent chills down my spine- the arrangement is absolutely superb & Carrie's vocals sound so pristine and perfect.
I know a lot of people don't seem so enthused about "Who Are You', but I'm anxious to hear this one. Plus, it's nice to see Carrie tackle a religious song that isn't a ballad like JTTW & TH. It seems so fitting that she'd end the album with a track like this, because fans who follow her closely know her faith means everything to her.
I know I mentioned this earlier, but I cannot get over the quality of her vocals on every single track; just when you think she can't improve she proves you wrong. I'm loving the richer tones she used for some of these tracks.
I'm even more excited for tonight, can't wait!!

For those who are having trouble (like me) with the B&N stream, I have the sampler on my blog as soundcloud. Blown Away, Two Black Cadillacs, See You Again, Forever Changed, Good in Goodbye and Wine After Whiskey are all highlights even though I've heard the latter.

Love the new clip of OWT - it is making me reconsider my first impression of that song completely. Love hearing the new clips of Blown Away and Two Black Cadillacs too. Also the Nobody Ever Told You clip sounds better than the earlier one too. The album sounds amazing and so diverse which I love. I don't think I have ever heard Carrie sound better. Thanks eliefares for uploading them to your blog. Can't wait to get this album in my hands.
