Wow. I'm a music video kind of guy and consider me completely slayed by that trailer. I'm not typically a fan of country music, but I love Carrie's pop leaning stuff. Good Girl is gold to me and Blown Away even moreso. I can't wait to see that video in full.

^^ WOW- I don't think I have been so excited about a music video in a quite a long time. Is there any inside information about a release date other than "coming soon" ?

OMG I need to see the video now! That looks amazing!
That looks like classic Reba production! That is so needed in today's music. I've said it before but I'll say it again, Carrie is Reba's heir in the 21st Century!

Loved that Opry performance of GG. She nailed the bigger notes a lot better and more clearly than normally. A few very minor blips in a select couple of spots, but other than that, it was probably one of my favorite performances of the song to date.
I'm so excited to see videos of Carrie at the Royal Albert Hall in a couple of weeks. :)

I REALLY hope they record her Royal Albert Hall show and offer it on DVD! As do I! That would be awesome! Put it on sale with "Blown Away" around late October for holiday sales!

It's really a shame that people are so ignorant. I don't know why, but it still shocks me that there are still people out there in 2012 with a 1950s mindset. I hope Carrie stands her ground and take back her comments or apologizes or anything like that. It would also be nice for other celebs, especially those in country music, to defend and support her.

That Blown Away video looks like it's going to be EPIC! :o I love that the teaser is out before the song even has an adds date lol. Some of the hate Carrie is getting on twitter is SO nasty, I bet she shuts it down. I bet she simply ignores it. Yup. I'm sure Carrie knows what to expect when she decides to speak up about it.

Her PR people will probably tell them no more questions about this. I doubt she wants to say much more considering the nastiness she has received.

I was just on the Taste of Country website... wow. Some of those comments are downright disgusting. I was reading some of those comments earlier today and I stopped after reading about five comments from people saying how they were "disgusted" by her saying this and how she's not a true Christian. Some people are just flat out idiots.

Good for Carrie. Standing up for love and equal rights all the while weeding out the bigots from her fan base. Two birds with one stone!
The video for "Blown Away" seems like it's going to be her best. Quite fitting for her best song.

Carrie might be receiving a lot of nasty comments right now, but honestly, here comments could be HUGE within the country music industry. There is NO WAY that other A-list country artists like Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum, and Toby Keith, among others, would not back up Carrie. Most artists within the industry are really good friends and if Carrie remains 'under fire' for a bit (I've read a lot of comments too--and many are horrible--but I don't think it'll have too much of an effect on her career), then I think some of those other artists would speak up in support of Carrie or come to her aid.

From what I've seen, the back lash is bad but it isn't THAT bad. This isn't as bad as when Kelly Clarkson came out supporting Ron Paul, and for her core fanbase, that was just as frowned upon as this. All I can tell myself when I see the idiotic comments (which, by the way, I haven't seen a single logical, rational stance against Carrie's comments) is that this is a good thing. Carrie is supporting equality, and as I've already said, it's meant a lot to me. I don't think many fans are going to be that bothered by it that they're not going to buy her CD's or go to her concerts. I'm sticking by her and her loyal fans will do the same.

Carrie will lose some fans over this, but she'll gain twice as many in return. Her career will be fine. Sure, she's receiving some Biblically-nonsensical backlash, but it certainly won't be the corruption to her career after making it as far as she has. People in the Country music community will support her, her millions and millions of fans will support her, and her career will only continue to grow.

It's a sad, sad world we're living in and it shames me to see one of the nicest, most caring, God fearing woman in entertainment having to deal with biggots like those extremist (so-called) christians... that's the last thing Carrie deserves...
I don't think she'll lose too many country fans along the way, as I also do not think she'll be making new gay fanbase (in the US) music-wise, simply because they already know her, everyone in America does... and just because she supports equal rights doesn't seem enough to make a fan out of someone who didn't care for her music before... I do think, though, that it'll draw some publicity for her on other countries, specially in the UK, but if they don't like her music, they'll just support her statement like any other artist that has come to defend gay marriage without really supporting their musical career...
on a funny side, leave it to the brits to ask about this on her first UK interview, after 7 whole years of career in the US with that subject never being touched...
and the good thing is that the comments for the Youtube video for How Great Thou Art remains all praise, with no discussion (yet) about her statement, only praises!!

So did the hicks in Alabama come after her yet? It's one thing to be Gaga, Britney, & Ke$ha but I know Carrie has a different constituency. Those Christian wing-nuts in the Bible-belt are probably pissed.
But bow to her for standing up.
