^ Undo It could have been cut from the set list without any impact at all and one of the BA tracks left out put in it's stead.I doubt many would have missed it.Not really sure why she included it. I do like that she's giving JAD & SS a rest and GOOTT & CD another spin around the dance floor. "Undo It" is far from my fave song from Carrie too, but I went to her Hollywood Bowl concert and UI was sooo much fun live and was a HUGE hit with the audience. Pretty sure it's gonna be part of all future concert tour setlists. Plus, even Carrie acknowledges that it was her last hit from the Play On era. I soooo want to go to one of the concerts this era, but time and circumstances prevent me from traveling all the way from Asia again just to watch. You North American fans are so lucky. We, international fans... not so much. I really, really hope Carrie considers doing an Asian stop one time.

I find it odd that Carrie doesn't seem to pay too much attention to what her fans want in terms of setlist selections. Honestly, if I was a musician going on tour, I'd probably pay more attention to my own preferences rather than include fan favorites, too. I mean, she's the one who has to sing these songs over and over and over again for months at a time, and odds are that most fans will pay to see her in concert no matter the setlist.

I'm just not a big fan of "Crazy Dreams". I feel like it's the "Nobody Ever Told You" of the Carnival Ride album. It's cute and kind of catchy, but I don't think it's one of her better songs. I would have rather she included "Flat On the Floor".

And as can be seen from the various opinions here, fans have different favorites and she won't be able to please everyone anyway. That being said, I'd like to put forth my preferences also ;) : I miss seeing HGTA on the setlist. That's always a goosebumps, spine-tingling moment. I could do without Remind Me, Thank God for Hometowns and even Leave Love Alone. I'm not as big a fan of See You Again so I'm fine without it. I'm with those who would have wanted to see Wine After Whiskey and Good in Goodbye. On the yay side, glad to see I Know You Won't in there.

Crazy Dreams is awesome, but I really don't like much of the setlist. Not including Good in Goodbye and See You Again is so dumb, because they are the best songs of the album, along with Do You Think About Me. Nobody Ever Told You is such an awful track, as well. I guess I won't be making an effort to see her this time around.

Seems like the reviews are excellent out the box! www.examiner.com/article/carrie-underwood-blows-away-the-crowd-at-first-concert-of-north-american-tour Carrie Underwood blows away the crowd at first concert of North American tour Country superstar Carrie Underwood kicked off her 55-city tour in Manchester, N.H. last night. With Hunter Hayes as her tour opener, the "Good Girl" singer wowed the crowd with her lavish staging, bedazzled costumes, and mostly uptempo setlist. Hayes worked his charm with the crowd and built up excitement for the main event. His six-song set included such hits as "Wanted" and "Storm Warning." He also threw in a special treat, a medley of Bruno Mars' "Just the Way You Are," Keith Urban's "You're My Better Half" and Train's "Drive By." (See full setlist below.) After a brief intermission, Underwood blasted through the screen door of the onstage make-shift house with her No. 1 rocker "Good Girl." Her two-hour concert only took off from there, literally. She followed up her smash hit with such fist-pumping anthems as "Undo It," "Last Name," "Get Out of This Town" and "Cupid's Got a Shotgun," among many others. In total, she performed an impressive 23 songs. Of course, the concert would not be complete without its tender moments as she whipped out lovely renditions of "Temporary Home" and her signature ballad "Jesus Take the Wheel." And just when the show was winding down, she took the reigns on her power-pop crossover "Before He Cheats," with the crowd singing along. Throughout the evening, Underwood impressed with edgy costumes, mood lighting and colorful backdrops. The biggest spectacle of all, however, came when Underwood mounted a square platform that hoisted the singer high above the heads of the audience. Slowly but surely, she glided through the air and performed her summer-ready jam "One Way Ticket," as well as "Crazy Dreams," "Do You Think About Me" and "Nobody Ever Told You." In addition, Underwood surprised fans with an Aerosmith cover of "Sweet Emotion" and a duet with Hayes on "Leave Love Alone." She also peppered in a holographic duet with Brad Paisley on "Remind Me" (which was a real crowd pleasure) and left many concertgoers in awe. As an encore, the Checotah native performed an older album cut (from Carnival Ride) called "I Know You Won't" and brought the house down with her current Top 10 single "Blown Away" (tornado included). Check out the full setlist: Hayes' Setlist “Light Me Up” “Love Makes Me” “Everybody’s Got Somebody But Me” “Wanted” Medley: Bruno Mars’ “Just the Way You Are,” Keith Urban's "You're My Better Half," Train’s “Drive By” “Storm Warning” Underwood's Setlist “Good Girl” “Undo It” “Wasted” “I Told You So” “Two Black Cadillacs” “Last Name” “All-American Girl” “Temporary Home” “Just As I Am” (snippet) / “Jesus Take the Wheel” “Cowboy Casanova” “Get Out of This Town” (on a flying platform) “Nobody Ever Told You” “Thank God For Hometowns” “Crazy Dreams” “Do You Think About Me” “One Way Ticket” “Leave Love Alone” w/ Hayes (back on the main stage) “Sweet Emotion” (by Aerosmith) “Remind Me” w/ a Brad Paisley hologram “Cupid’s Got a Shotgun” “Before He Cheats” Encore: “I Know You Won’t” “Blown Away”

We may be tired of hearing Undo It as fans, but every time I have seen it performed live the crowd has gone NUTS. I think artists like performing those types of songs because they feed off of the overall audience and not necessarily what hardcore fans who have seen Undo It a billion times by now want.

I don't see how Carrie or any other artist could ever satisfy the personal preferences of each of her fans without displeasing some of her other fans. Some of you have mentioned that you're confused as to why Carrie doesn't pay attention to fans' favorites. Some of you have mentioned: Doesn't she look at the sale of her songs on itunes? Or better yet fan sites like this one. Neither one is that useful in my opinion. Selling alot of singles doesn't necessarily mean that the buyers are all fans, fans that will show up at her shows...I buy alot of singles because I like the song, the artist, not so much...and I don't buy their albums. As for sites like this one...well I visit a number of sites and you know what, it's always the same people who post their opinions, their wish lists for concert set lists. They are but a small sample of the population and varied at that.
For me Carrie's set list is quite satisfying and extensive.... There's one or two songs I could do without, but hey, the songs I could do without are probably someone else's favorites.

I think lyrically and melodically, 'Undo It' is just a terrible song. Vocally, Carrie sells this song like probably no one else could: her stage presence, sass, and vocals are always on fire. Because of her clear liking to performing this song live and because it was one of her biggest radio hits/digital sellers, I completely understand her inclusion of this song into her concert set. Had she not, she would likely receive complaints from her fans on twitter, lol. Further, the response from the crowd during 'Undo It' at every show I have attended or YT video which I have watched suggests that I am clearly in the minority about it.

I'm not the biggest Undo It fan, but honestly, it should be included. It's a fun, upbeat song that goes over well in concert. Most people come to concerts to hear the hits, not new songs, so obviously, most of her concert should include her hits. Most of Carrie's catalog of hits are ballads (which, for the most part, I prefer over her uptempos), so unfortunately, she has to cut some of them out. All of her uptempo hits are included. Overall, I think the setlist is great. I believe I counted 13 upbeat songs and 10 ballads, so that's a nice balance. Concerts shouldn't be ballad-heavy.
I do wish Get Out of This Town and Crazy Dreams would have been left out, especially the former since I do not like that song and it's not all that upbeat, but oh well. I am glad she is still including I Know You Won't. That one is always a winner. I do wish she still kept How Great Thou Art following JTTW.
Nobody Ever Told You isn't one of my favorites, but obviously, Carrie likes it, and it's a good message. Surely though, Carrie realizes that the song isn't a good single choice. Hopefully, she does. I am a little surprised she is singing Thank God For Hometowns rather than another album cut. Good In Goodbye or Wine After Whiskey would have been much better choices. Other than those small complaints, the setlist is great.
It is interesting to note the songs from Blown Away she did include. All of her uptempos are included, which are obviously meant so the concert isn't ballad-heavy. As far as ballads, Do You Think About Me, Two Black Cadillacs, and Thank God For Hometowns are all that's included from the album (excluding Blown Away). Surely, Carrie understands that TGFH should not be a single. That leaves Do You Think About Me and Two Black Cadillacs. I'm thinking both of those will be the singles next (DYTAM first, then TBC), and OWT will be the 5th and last (unless there are six singles). Don't blow it Carrie!

I don't think the songs on her setlist have anything to do with her single choices. When you follow the story she is telling in her setlist you realize that when she goes from GOOTT, CD, and TGFH she telling almost her own story. She has talked about when she was younger wanting to leave her hometown because she thought the grass was greener somewhere else. CD covers how a crazy dream she had of singing for a living, and finally TGFH is a tribute to how much her hometown means to her.

^I'm not saying they necessarily do or don't, but I still think it's interesting. The fact she left out Good In Goodbye in particular is interesting since that seems to be one lots of people were wanting to be the next single (it and Do You Think About Me). Of course, that doesn't mean Good In Goodbye is completely ruled out of the equation, but for the most part, she has performed future singles in concert (but not always. I Told You So wasn't performed in concert before it was a single). Just pointing out stats.

New CMA promo ad:
Complete opening sequence to the tour:
The material in that video is what should've been the ending to the actual BA music video.

How come "Blown Away" didn't do anything on POP? I was sure this song would send her album 2x platinum. Shame

^Not really sure what you're talking about. It hasn't been released to pop, but it's getting spins and it has a bullet. It doesn't even have an adds date yet, but it's adds day on HAC/AC is today. courantblogs.com/sound-check/carrie-underwood-blows-away-the-webster-bank-arena-saturday-night/

Carrie Underwood on the second night of her “Blown Away” tour, at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport. (Nick Caito) Carrie Underwood has enjoyed a degree of success beyond the average American Idol winner. She has proven time and again that she has staying power, and her performance Saturday night at Bridgeport’s Webster Bank Arena was strong reminder. Underwood’s performances aren’t much in terms of dancing about the stage. In fact it is imaginable that dancing would be difficult in the various stiletto heels she wore throughout the concert. What Underwood does do is sing, and she does it well. From belting out hits to her graceful ballads, it would be hard to forget that her voice is the determining factor of her stay of popularity. Yet there was far more to this concert than just her singing. From what this reviewer last saw of her performing, in late 2010 at MGM Grand, the stage design was simple. A few batteries of lights, the backing band shrouded in darkness, that was all. But then that was an amphitheater, and this was an arena. There’s a different level you can reach with an arena concert, and in that regard Underwood’s stage show was one of the most spectacular in recent memory. In addition to the giant background monitor, there were three large screens that shifted throughout the show. The screens showed various videos throughout the concert, from exploding light bulbs to caricature silhouettes of Underwood rolling in a field with puppies. Then there was the balloon ride. Carrie Underwood and several band members took a ‘balloon ride’ on a suspended stage across the arena. (Nick Caito) After romping through Cowboy Casanova, an elevator carried Underwood beneath the stage (one of several times this happened). There seemed to be more roadies running out on stage than normal, hooking up wires connected to the ceiling of the arena. Upon returning to stage, Underwood took a simulated balloon ride across the arena on a suspended stage. At one point she tossed leis from the platform, and enormous beach balls came out of nowhere to be tossed around the crowd. Then there was the touchstone motif of the impending storm, falling in line with the “Blown Away” theme. Videos during wardrobe change interludes returned to this theme regularly, culminating in Underwood’s final encore, a performance of the tour’s namesake song. The set ended with a cyclone of paper leaves erupting from the center of the stage. Though only the second night of the tour, it was clear that a lot of production time, effort, and money went into this spectacular set. The Blown Away tour makes a return to Connecticut in two months, at the XL Center in Hartford Nov. 10.

There is information surfacing stating "Two Black Cadillacs" is the "confirmed" next single. Can anyone actually confirm this? Or at least tell me where this information is from?

BA (song) is back up to #13 on iTunes all-genre (#3 on Country). Hoping that, with the central & west coast showings of the performance from the CMA Fest special, it can finally crack the top 10! GG is now at #107. BA (album) is up to #28 on iTunes all-genre (#4 on Country).

Alright, I'm finally jumping on the bandwagon. "Wine After Whiskey" needs to be a single. I think DYTAM, WAW, and TBC should be released. Don't see WAW getting a release though.

www.countryaircheck.com/pdf_publication/Issue_312%20-%20September%2017,%202012.pdf Carrie Tour: Own Away If Carrie Underwood’s goal was to leave fans blown away, WTHT/Portland, ME APD/MD/midday host Cory Garrison tells Country Aircheck she delivered. Garrison made the two-hour trip to Manchester, NH to see the Blown Away Tour opener, and he urges programmers to roll out the red carpet when it comes to their town.“Carrie’s always been great, but now she’s in a league of her own,” he says. “It was more than a show, it was an experience.”
Garrison points to an“amped-up” energy, multiple wardrobe changes and special effects, and a floating platform that had her hovering high above the audience at one point. Underwood squeezed 23 songs into her set, including a cover of Aerosmith’s “Sweet Emotion” and a duet with opener Hunter Hayes called “Leave Love Alone.” There was even a duet with a holographic Brad Paisley on “Remind Me.”“It’s obvious that she’s gained experience and is even more connected with her audience,”
Garrison says. “It was interesting to see the varying demographics in the crowd, too. From young to old, they were all there. She’s definitely country’s most powerful female voice and I’m not sure there’s anyone that represents us like she does. There’s a real value in seeing this show, and it shows that the format is stronger than ever.” Underwood brings the Blown Away Tour to Providence, RI tonight (9/17) and Worcester, MA on Wednesday (9/19).

Sometimes I am literally taken back by how gorgeous Carrie is. I know that other stuff matters more (like her amazing voice and personality) but damn, she is beautiful.

Carrie is really at the peak of her career. I mean from the performance, the vocal, the stage presence, the look....all are flawless.
I love how 'shiny' the stage for the tour is. I love all the lighting. I love how she wants to get close to the fans. I love the outfits.
FYI, Blown Away is up to #13 and hopefully this time it will break into top 10 ! <3

I'm with you on this one. I think lyrically and melodically, 'Undo It' is just a terrible song. Yeah, Undo It is easily my least favorite single. I heavily dislike it and am still bitter that it was chosen over Songs Like This as a single. I hope that Two Black Cadillacs will be chosen as a single for this era, and something like See You Again is not.
