Is anyone else really into live DVDs? I have quite a number of them from artists that I like. You usually pay a lot less money, and get way better seats, to concerts from your favourite artists. I have quite a few that I enjoy, but my favourites are:
Pink - Funhouse Tour: Live In Australia Adele - Live At The Royal Albert Hall Carole King - The Living Room Tour Kenny Chesney - Summer Martina McBride - Live In Concert Green Day - Awesome As Fuck
What are your favourite live DVDs?

Madonna's Confessions Tour is my favorite live DVD. Beautifully shot, and very well-edited.

All of BeyoncΓ©'s DVDs are beautiful. Mariah's Fantasy: Live at Madison Square Garden is my favorite.

I only have Mariah's Fantasy...on VHS. I'd get it on DVD but I hate that they dub over her vocals at parts. I mean, please, her voice was perfect, there's no need for that.
I need to get Pink and Adele's latest. And honestly...I might consider getting Beyonce's if she does one for 4.
KELLY STRONGER TOUR DVD PLEASE. It's the only thing this era needs and then it will be perfect.

Sometimes it's to reduce the crowd noise and get better quality with the vocals front and center. But yeah there was little to dub over as it was flawless. She has. It came out in November and it's called Live at Roseland: Elements of 4. She performed her older hits, plus the whole album minus 'Start Over'. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elements_of_4

I got Adele's for Christmas, and was really pleasantly surprised by it. I didn't realize how funny she is. I'd probably get Kelly's if she put one out for this album. I remember talk of her and Reba releasing their tour on DVD a few years back. I wish that had happened.

I wish that had happened. They did tape one show, but then decided against releasing the footage, correct? Horrible decision. That was one outstanding experience, that show.

Horrible decision. That was one outstanding experience, that show. I'm pretty sure that's right. They didn't come up here, so I never saw their show together. I'd even settle for the Crossroads episode.

I like XTina's Stripped and Back 2 Basics DVD's
Whitney Houston- Welocme Home To The Troups. It's a little stretched out but her voice that night more than makes up for it. It is emotionally sentimental.
Mariah The Adventures Of Mimi Tour. I know some was dubbed but I liked the concert. She seemed very relaxed and it felt like you were at the concert.
The Beyonce Experience- Amazing live performing at it's best. Sometimes I get bored when she's singing other peoples songs but not on this DVD.
Donna Summer- Live and More Encore. She's not at her peak but still sounds Amazing. A few treats for the fans including the not released songs on it.
Janet Jackson- The Velvet Rope- Great thought out show. Everything didn't seem as fake as some of her other's.

I wish more artists would include the full show on CD when they release the live DVDs. Adele's set is really perfect, especially since it was released on Blu-ray too. I also love The Script's recent release, since they put together a really great package with the DVD:

I only own Adele's. After seeing Lady Gaga live an then seeing her HBO special I realized that live DVD's don't even give you the smallest's idea of what it feels like to see an artist live.

I own an Aly & AJ live DVD, and Shakira's Oral Fixation tour DVD. I'm excited to be getting Shakira: Live in Paris in a couple weeks for my birthday.

Donna Summer- Live and More Encore. She's not at her peak but still sounds Amazing. A few treats for the fans including the not released songs on it. Worth it alone for the Tina Arena duet on "Enough is Enough."

I should add Wynonna's Her Story: Scenes From A Lifetime. I finally saw it tonight, and it's great. I really miss 90s country.

I'll add Sarah Brightman's DVD's to this list, but specifically her Live in Las Vegas is stunning.
