The last couple of days a dance remix of an unreleased song (possible next single) by Kris Allen has been floating around the internet after the link was tweeted by someone connected to the remixers. This song was written by Kris Allen , Nasri Atweh and Adam Messinger RCA knows about the leak and reportedly said: "Kris’ new album is almost done & this is one of the songs that we’re super psyched about... and is in the running to be the first single. Because the original version of “The Vision Of Love” is uptempo Kris thought it would be cool to... on the down-low... experiment with some fresh, unexpected remixes... the producers we’ve approached have all been really into the song... and it seems like this trance remix team from Finland called Maison & Dragen just got a little over-excited with their version." (http://www.hot995.com/pages/toby.html?article=9666304) Anyway, the reaction from music bloggers, etc. seems to be very positive (mixed in with a lot of surprise that Kris would even think about doing a dance remix of one of his songs) EDITED: The remix producers tweeted about this leak, and included a link: maisondragen Wow! What a buzz around our leaked @krisallen 'Vision Of Love' remix. The final version will blow your mind! www.whompingstereo.com/2012/01/leak-kris-allen-vision-of-love-maison-dragen-dmac-remix/I really like it -- hope RCA actually does something with it.

This is absolutely massive. Once he started using the falsetto I really loved it.
Lyrically, it's great as well. They really should release this remix to pop radio.

I absolutely love this remix! Kris sounds really awesome on a Dance track. He has a really strong voice that would be excellent on one of those Tiesto vocal trance songs from the early 2000s ("Love Comes Again") or even on a Chicane one (past or present). There were a couple of remixes here and there for songs from his last album so I knew it would work. It's nice to hear the remix before the actual album version. I'm looking forward to the final album version.

The more I listen to it the more I like it. The tune has been in my head the whole day. I'd love to hear the non remix version too. The guys who remixed it said that the final editing will blow us away (not the exact words).
Can't wait. Just when you think you've seen everything Kris, he drops another bombshell on you. He's really a talented guy.
This is a great song and I'm happy for all the great feed back he's getting. I hope RCA is paying attention.

I saw a tweet tonight that said the remix of VOL was played on JOY, which I'm told is a LGBT station in Melbourne, Australia
I'm assuming they just spun this leaked version.

I agree with the Chicane comparison above, but even moreso, I think the production and vocals are very Seal reminiscent. The verses sound very much like Prayer for the Dying and the chorus reminds me of his "Your Vision" song, or whatever.
Can't wait to hear more of this.

Love this, it's incredible. I've played it an embarrassing number of times. RCA would be crazy not to release some version of the remix to radio in addition to the regular track.

This song will be the biggest club anthem from a AI alum. I never expected this, but I expect this to be inescapable along the lines of Pressure from Nadia Ali and Allesso.
Kelly Clarkson is the only other AI alum that i can think of that has some clubland hits. Maybe Fantasia and her "It's All Good" Scumfrog remix too actually.

Blake Lewis has 3-4 charted (with a #1). Kimberley Locke as a few #1's. Frenchie Davis has charted several times. The list goes on. It's definitely not just Kelly.

Ok, I totally blanked out and blacked out last night after the club.
I'm a big fan of remixes from J Hud, Blake Lewis (great album) Kimberly Locke, and Laquisha Jones (JDB remix). My bad!!
I'm ready for Dance Radio to pick this up NOW!

Didn't one of Adam Lambert's songs top the Billboard dance/club charts? Or at least get really high on that chart? Maybe FYE?

Jordin Sparks and Blake Lewis are so far the only Idol winner and runner-up (of the same year) who earned a #1 in the Billboard Club Chart. Jordin did it with 'SOS (Let The Music Play)' while Blake had 'Heartbreak On Vinyl'.
Other Idols contestants who hit #1 in the club chart are: Kimberley Locke - 3 #1 club hits: Change, Band Of Gold, Fall. Jennifer Hudson - 1 #1 club hit: And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going Kelly Clarkson - 1 #1 club hit: Strong (What Doesn't Kill You)
