The performance with Flo Rida was a damn mess. Lotustina continues to troll us.

I'm not even sure where to begin.
Christina, step away from Flo Rida and Pitbull, work on those vocal chops, and get some integrity back, woman.
I adore her, but she needs to stop trying to appear young and hip by performing with all these s*hit rappers, and it makes her look like an even bigger joke when she can't even give a good vocal performance.
Looking great can only get you so far; Christina needs to stick with what she knows, instead of performing with anybody to try and get some attention.
At this point, that's only going to hurt her already shaky reputation, and it also doesn't help that she can't give a decent vocal. She's got the look down, but that's worthless if she doesn't have the entire package. Considering her image is built on her vocal talent, she needs to start working with a vocal coach and step up her game. She can't afford to make herself look worse by giving awful performances at this point.
I hope for her sake she can turn it around; I love the woman, but I'm afraid it may be too late.

She truly trolled us tonight. Those vocals towards the end lmao.
Hopefully Redemptiontina will make an appearance tomorrow, but I'm not getting my hopes set too high.

What was even the point of singing on Flo Rida's song when she's not even on the actual studio recording? Just so she could perform SOMETHING?

You guys... I was afraid of listening to the clip and hear a vocal mess. No! There was (again!) problem with the sound and her voice kept coming and going but she sounded good, engaged with the performance, even danced a bit (which I wanted her to do for her FTM performances) and looked gorgeous. Yes, there was something off in one of the final seconds when she went to the higher note and seemed shaky but it seemed to be more an issue of not hearing herself. Anyway. It was not her best but not a mess or even a subpar. Definitely miles better than what other pop stars can do now live (eg Rih? Katy?).

She gave us that vocal mess tonight so we can have a heart attack when she slays tomorrow. She was trolling the shit out of us tonight.

I agree, it wasn't as bad as I thought but I agree with @carrieflattsfan that she needs to stop with this Pitbull and Flo Rida stuff. All these years of her saying she didn't want to be a "safe" pop artist and she's worked with two of the safest ones out there. If she wants to work with rappers so badly, I would not mind another collab with Lil' Kim. "Lady Marmalade" & "Can't Hold Us Down" <3

Honestly, a poor live vocal from Christina is still better than those from just about every other current female pop singer, bar Kelly Clarkson (and occasionally Gaga). I love Katy, Rihanna, Taylor, Miley, etc., but they wish they could sound as good on their best day as Christina does on her worst.

I just now heard yesterday's vocal, expecting a cleaner, energized vocal, but like many of y'all, was EXTREMELY disappointed. She showed lack of confidence, poor control, and tried to "throat" yell her way through the song. She clearly shines on slower songs/ballads, where she has more time to control her pitch and regulate her power, as she failed more often than not on up-tempos and/or tracks with loud production, where she struggles to keep up and over-compensates by using volume to be heard.
I would greatly appreciate if someone could post tonight's performance on here ! I believe that I am on my last leg of rooting for her to make a vocal comeback, because she has been letting me down for several years now....

Lack of confidence is something she did not show last night.

I love Katy, Rihanna, Taylor, Miley, etc., but they wish they could sound as good on their best day as Christina does on her worst. I agree to a degree, though I think there are plenty more that are better than her, whether it's her current best or worst--Beyonce (unless you don't count her as pop, which...I guess I don't, either), Adele, Sara Bareilles, Jessie J (when she isn't following Christina's mistakes), plus many women in R&B, country, alternative, etc....plus, honestly, a good number of contestants on The Voice. That said, she still has a rather striking, full, wonderful quality to her voice that is very unique to her. It was on full display with that "Say Something" clip. Even the simple notes just sound so rich. If she just had someone to tell her what the state of her voice is like and that, for performances, she should stick to a more limited style of singing, she'd come off a lot better, because she still has a lot to give and show. I think the problem is is that she's been marketed as the voice of her generation, and even though this hasn't really been true for quite some time now, she still carries that torch for herself and that means, apparently, singing the shit out of everything to prove that she still has that title, when all it does is prove the opposite. I think the mere fact that we're having to compare Christina to Katy, Rihanna, and Taylor shows how far she's fallen (I know you're just making a point, and one that stands, but still--those three are notoriously poor live vocalists).

Even if everyone agreed that her voice has *seriously* deteriorated--which I personally don't think it has although some loss is natural (just like with Mariah, Whitney, and eventually even Kelly Clarkson, Celine and Adele)--there's no debating that if you go back just as soon as 2010, she was still giving amazing vocals, so hardly "quite some time now." And even if deterioration was considered, it would still be true that her voice is better than all/most of the artists of the generation she comes from (considering that's mostly Britney, Backstreet Boys, etc.).
I think all that shows is what some people are determined to repeat and/or focus on about an artist they don't care for. Wash, rinse, repeat.
