Written by Harold Arlen and Ira Gershwin, this was featured in 1954's A Star is Born. This is my favorite Judy song. A vocal masterclass.
So sad that she was already addicted to drugs and alcohol for over a decade at this point. Her voice was still fabulous though. It wasn't really until the final couple of years of her career that her voice really started sounding badly damaged. What a loss.

We saw the new version and I still prefer the Judy Garland version. I also love the original one from the 1930's. The new one is OK. I love Bradly Cooper. My least favorite version was the Streisand one in the 70's. Judy's version of the Man That Got Away is wonderful. I also love Cher's version that you can catch on You Tube.
