Now that Rihanna has released two new tracks with Chris Brown, has your opinion on her changed?

Yes, for the worse, and very much so. I don't think I've ever been this disgusted with an artist I like.

On her? Yes, definitely, and for the worse.
On her music? Time will tell. I can't listen to it at the moment, but I'm going to try to not let that stop me. I never thought I could listen to a Chris Brown track again, but I do occasionally still listen to his older hits. (Though, again, not at the current moment.)

No, not really. I never had much respect for her--- her voice is mediocre, her songs are hyper-sexualized and unimpressive, her messages are often shallow and crude, and her image isn't all that unique or interesting. Overall I find her (and Katy Perry) the worst examples of what pop music has become.
Her reunion with Chris Brown, while unexpected (to me), is just icing on the birthday cake and I'm frankly uninterested in ever hearing anything more from her. I'm not surprised she did something so tasteless (although I didn't think Chris was in the cards) and I think time will tell whether or not the general public is equally as tasteless (depending on the song's success). Could be interesting to see. I'm just sickened by her popularity and this doesn't help. Hope it turns out alright for her in the end.

No. I feel bad that she's going back to her abuser (even though it may not be in a romantic way yet). I will continue to buy her music, but I will never listen to this song.

Absolutely. I haven't always enjoyed her music, but have for the majority of her output, and always found her shrug-it-off, super-cool persona kind of enticing and refreshing these last few years until recently, where she seemed to become brash for the sake of a quick-fix Twitter frenzy. This is just appalling. The fact that she isn't even back together with him (officially) actually makes this all worse, because when that rumor was going around I felt frustrated and disgusted, but also sorry for her. She's just shoving this in everyone's faces simply for the sake of controversy and I'm sure what she believes is the fact that she's rather untouchable at this moment in time. It's so very, very disappointing, and I can only hope it blows up in her face if only to help counter the damaging message she has already sent out.
I couldn't possibly have any less respect for Chris Brown than I already do, so that remains unchanged.

Yes and no. I don't mind the remixes - I actually really like the 'Birthday Cake' remix, despite its extreme inappropriateness - but I think it's tacky that she's exploiting her own misfortune for publicity.

Yes.
I've never been much of a fan of her music, but I always thought she seemed like a nice person and her music was enjoyable. I really respected her after she watching the 20/20 interview she gave a few months after Chris attacked her. I thought she came across as really mature and well-spoken. But my opinion of her changed dramatically after she released "Rated R" and she her music started becoming more violent. She probably still has some pretty heavy baggage, but I just found it hard to like her after she posed nude for some magazine, and so on. She just came across as trashy, violent, and a bit pathetic to me.
I feel bad for her because she obviously has some dark issues if she's going back to a man who almost killed her, and her music and image alone would suggest she has no respect for herself. It's sad to see what she's become in a few short years; I hope she gets the help she needs, but I'm not holding my breath.

I've always casually liked Rihanna. I've always thought she was beautiful, made catchy music, and could make a hook really pop. When the news of the domestic violence hit, I was supporting her. I loved Rated R and thought that she had come back stronger than before. I like some of her recent songs, but I didn't really have an opinion on Rihanna herself.
Then this latest news came about. I'm disappointed in her in doing this. I think that it's sending a poor message to everyone that rallied in her support. She could have collaborated with anyone in the free world, and she chose Chris Brown. I'm just very disappointed, and I don't think that she made the right choice at all. My opinion of her has changed, yes.
Pretend that what Danny San Francisco and Oprah said is what I also said.

She's getting more hate than Bieber right now and that's saying something.

Yes, for the worse, and very much so. I don't think I've ever been this disgusted with an artist I like. This, even though I have started losing interest in Rihanna musically since the Loud era, but this is just unacceptable.

I think she's disgusting. It's really low to flaunt this situation to the world and brag about this song's shock value in front of her fans who have done nothing but support her since Chris beat her to a pulp. I don't know if I've ever looked down on an artist as much as I am looking down on her right now, too bad she doesn't seem to care about what everyone thinks of her. I wonder if she will once the backlash really starts.

Kinda..I mean it's really none of my business...and I still love her music, but come on!! It's one thing to forgive him and start over, but to use this as a way to sell music??
Where are all the Rihanna stans and even non-stans who were here 3 years ago saying Chris should never be forgotten...it's all ok now?*(and I do think Chris should be able to move on...mistakes happen, but this is just a sad attempt to cash in on hype...)

I've never actually liked Rihanna, but I've never disliked her. I don't listen to her music, but it's not like I loathe it. It's just that she's always seemed like one of those little pop tarts, but she never faded away into obscurity like I expected her to. That being said, I had some respect for her as a person. She kept away from Chris Brown, didn't do drugs (that I know of), and she isn't a partier (that I know of). She seemed to be a strong, independent woman.
That was before this debacle happened. I have lost all respect for her. I think that she can forgive him; that's fine. However, by making a song with him instead of saying she forgave him is a bad idea. What makes it even worse is the situation. It would have been all fine and dandy if he cheated on her or something, but when he beat her, then there's no excuse to forgive him like that. If she wants to do it in her private life, then so be it, but because she's a huge pop star with massive influence on young women today, it makes the situation much different. This is sending the message that it's okay to forgive the abuse, which ultimately says that it's okay to go back to the abuser. This is sending the wrong message to young women, and it disgusts me that she has done this. Shame on her.

I was never a big Rihanna fan from the get-go, so this doesn't really change anything for me. Seeing her career go downhill from here would just be the icing on the birthday cake.

I don't know if I've ever looked down on an artist as much as I am looking down on her right now, too bad she doesn't seem to care about what everyone thinks of her. I wonder if she will once the backlash really starts. THIS. I truly believe this move to feature Chris Brown is a calculated attempt by her/label's to elevate her career to be the Madonna of her generation by "shocking" people and creating a controversial mystique for herself. She has seen with her own eyes how doing something remotely similar to that has worked wonders for Lady Gaga. The Perez Hilton tweets, Twitter fire from fans, upcoming trending chart toppers, and media headlines in the days to come are likely all part of the master plan- just after the Grammys, just in time for the Brit Awards. That being said, IMO, the Rihanna situation is vastly different from Gaga's one in that Rihanna elevates the cringeworthy desperation for "celebrity" to become the biggest pop star in the world to a much different level by intentionally risking alienating her younger female (and male) fanbase without consideration of self-respect for the goal of career promotion. I have always viewed Rihanna as a rather limited artist talent-wise, as IMO, she has no strong attribute (vocals, dancing, song-writing, stage presence, etc). This calculated "gimmick" only solidifies my beliefs. ETA: This tweet from Rihanna pretty much tells the story:

The whole situation is bizarre. Part of me enjoys the audacity of it all. But then I think of the moral implications of it all and I can't quite believe it's happening. It's a huge risk for attention and hits from artists that aren't lacking in either anyway. I find it pointless first and foremost, but my feeling towards Rihanna are now that she's not only disrespectful and psychologically damaged, but that she's a moron.
There are very few times in music where you can pinpoint to a moment where you can see it's "the beginning of the end" for an artist on a major level, and I think unfortunately for Rihanna we might just have seen hers.

Part of it leaves an especially bitter taste in my mouth considering it comes days after Whitney Houston's funeral...a woman who's life was irrevocably changed and damaged by an abusive relationship. It seems like a complete slap in the face. Genuinely, no pun intended.

Don't care for most of her music. She has a few great little pop numbers but most of it doesn't do anything for me. Celebrity wise, she is a favorite though. Her tweets crack me up and I love that she doesn't give a fuck.
This, however, horrifies me. What a stupid fucking thing to do.

As long as she keeps great music, i will buy it always like it.
But i'm really feeling her image and attitude anymore. She seems cute and all but it looks like she needs to go to rehab, especially after agreeing to include Chris fucking Brown to be in her song. DEAD
