My bet for judges are Janet Jackson and Katy Perry. I honestly think they'd have chemistry, and they're both one of the most likeable people in show business. Katy Perry would have the 18-30 demographic while Janet would draw mostly the 25+ demographic. Katy Perry's at the top of pop world while Janet needs to get back into the spotlight. And on top of all that Katy Perry has the million-dollar voice (she may be no Adele but anyone would pay millions to hear her sing) and Janet is one of the best dancers in pop history. They're a match made in (my) heaven.
As for hosts I know how silly this is but I think Tracy Morgan would be amazingly hilarious...the one thing lacking from American Idol and The Voice is a comedian who can bring that sort of energy to the show, so I think he'd be perfect.

I would love for Janet to be a judge. It would really help her career & she would be back in the spotlight in a major way. She's really likeable and sweet so she could play the role of the nice judge.

As long as Britney is a judge I don't give an f about the other. Well, not really. Britney & Janet would be ideal but I'd also love to see Mimi or Fergie. We've had enough of Katy for the last 2 years so she should lay low for a while to give us a chance to miss her. She can score #1s without shameless promotion anyway.

Simon and Nick Cannon already said Mariah is not doing it.

That's too bad about Mariah b/c I think I think she would actually be a really good mentor and she has a strong personality (in a good way). Janet looks good on paper but she's so demure and soft-spoken, I wonder if she would just end up kind of getting overshadowed by the other judges on the panel.
P!nk has been mentioned before, and I think she'd be fantastic. Shania was a really good guest judge on Idol. I'd love to see her as an X-Factor judge, though I know she's not anywhere near the rumored list of people being considered. Faith Hill would also be a good addition. I know some people scoffed at the TMZ report that Avril contacted the show about it, but I don't know, I think that she could work (either as a host or a judge).
Justin Timberlake is the only male singer I can think of that I would care to see as a judge, and I'm mildly iffy on that. He could be a good mentor, but if his general douchebaggery ends up being the more predominant part of his personality then it's not gonna work.
I like the general idea of a comedian as a host but NOT Tracey Morgan. I can't stand him. I really can't think of anyone off the top of my head right now for that.

^Not much, but she's had the X-Factor in spades for well over a decade now.
I still think Janet is the best way to go. She needs them as much as they need her.

Too bad Mariah isn't doing it. Even though I feel she is too A-list for a show like that, she would have been great. She has plenty of experience in regards to singing and would offer great advice. And she is really likable and would be a joy to watch on the show. I would still like to see her as a guest mentor during the new season. I think Gloria Estefan would be a great judge. She had originally been offered American Idol but she turned it down because she didn't feel comfortable judging other people's singing like that. I think they should bring on Kelly Rowland. She has already worked on the UK version of the show. I still think Janet is the best way to go. She needs them as much as they need her. This. It would be mutually beneficial.

Simon said they were looking for female judges so I highly doubt it'll be Justin. But I think he'd be great. And yeah you're right Tracy Morgan probably doesn't have too huge of an audience outside of the suburbs...

Simon said earlier that he's looking for a more A-Lost cast. If they're gunna hire Kelly they mind as well rehire Nicole... And wouldn't Mariah be too diva-ish as a mentor?

I'd love Janet and Britney. Could live with Fergie. If Katy Perry's a judge, I won't be watching.

No, I like singers with talent, and that will never include Ms. Lip Synching Spears.

There is no way Beyonce will do this. In 10 years, I could see it, but right now, I just don't see it.
They need a fading star, someone who's done it all, and could use the money, but isn't out of the game totally. Janet would have been perfect.
