Second single from this band. Goes for adds this week. And yes, it's an actual Tyga remake.

Didn't bother listening to their first single since I'd never heard of them before but, ugh. I have a morbid curiosity to hear this.

They're pulling a bit of a Framing Hanley here. First single flops, so they cover a hip-hop song hoping it'll hit. This is awful, but it could well do better than "Str8 to the Bottom."

Just to clarify, it wasn't Framing Hanley's idea to cover the song and release it as a single, and to suggest so is unfair to the band members who worked hard to support their own music.

I don't know if you posted that because you have a soft spot for Nixon, but just to clarify on my part, I wasn't suggesting that it was Framing Hanley's idea to record and release "Lollipop." It may very well be the same case with Weaving the Fate being pushed to record this.

Well, I think saying "they're pulling a bit of a Silent Majority here" would have confused some people. I like how we're talking as if Framing Hanley released a cover of "Friday." The "Lollipop" cover was actually not that bad.

I saw them live tonight (only because they were opening for Crossfade). While both of their singles were only mehh for me, seeing them live showed that they were a lot more interesting of a band than I ever would have thought. And their drummer is fucking awesome! Because of how good he is and because Crossfade lost their drummer prior to the tour, WtF's drummer was also the drummer for all the Crossfade songs and he absolutely nailed them...well I'd go as far as to say improved them. His cymbal work is phenomenal and his stage presence alone makes this a band worth seeing. The bass player is pretty frickin' cool too. And the singer was a very nice guy when I talked to him.
