Thanks, aajunkie. I had a busy weekend and was too tired to post the chart. Jeremy Camp took a dive on the chart this week. He was hanging around the mid-point of the top ten for quite some time and this week, falls from 4 to 10. He ties Mark Schultz for the longest running song on the chart this week, with 28 weeks. I have a feeling we'll be seeing both songs in the Top 20 of 2005, coming up in a little over five months (hard to believe that the year is more than half over!). We had three debuts last week, but none of them move up very much this week (such is usually the case when there's an unusually high debut count). Although, Matthew West does move up from 13 to 11 with his song about coming to believe in God in his early teen years. I have a feeling that song's going to be another big hit for him. It might not be as big as his smash from last year "More", but at least we know it's a lot bigger than his annoying hit "The End", which peaked at number nineteen around this time last year. Earlier this year, Todd Agnew's hit "Still Here Waiting" was bobbling around in the lower reaches of the chart and ended up staying for over 20 weeks. Overflow looks to be doing the same thing, as "Cry On My Shoulder", which never made the Top Ten (I don't think so, anyway), is in its nineteenth week on the chart. The only difference is, that song made the Top 20 on the R&R Christian AC chart, whereas Todd Agnew never made it out of New & Active. Natalie Grant holds onto the top spot for a second week with "Held". However, she might not be up there for very long, as "Brave" by Natalie Grant edges closer to the top, plus we have two songs just outside the Top Five by artists who have had many, many number one hits, especially MercyMe, who narrowly missed hitting number one earlier this year with "Homesick". Their new one has a good chance of topping the chart. We'll have to see what happens.

Has anybody noticed that Jeremy Camp has been on the chart for 76 consecutive weeks. Every week since January 24, 2004. :o

Well, he'd better hurry up and hit the chart with his new one ("Open Up Your Eyes", I believe), because "Take You Back" is really starting to run out of gas.
