She's already on her 4th album and she's still surprising us A LOT!

The re-e-e-e-e-e is kinda random, but it's meant to be a multi-format smash I think. So perfect. Seriously. This album will be perfect. Well done, Swizzle.

Love Red <3 She's seriously one of the most talented artists out there. Hate her or love her, the girl makes great music(and alot of time does it on her own).

I don't get why everyone thinks the sound after the chorus is some auto-tuned, techno-y Re-e-e-e-ed. It's just a guitar with reverb.... And I love it. It's probably my favorite part of the song. But I always love great guitar parts in songs.

At this point, she's going to have the entire iTunes top 10 occupied on the day of the album release... her selling power is incredible.

I'm a bit skeptical about predicting a million debut for any artist in this day and age, but if there's any artist out there who has a shot at it, it's Taylor! (Adele, as well).

I'm loving the whole pop vibe of Red (the song). I liked Begin Again, but this new song just takes it above and beyond.

lol at "guitar reverb." 0:58 is SURELY an auto tuned effect. what's the problem with that?

"The re-e-e-e-e-e is kinda random."
Yeah, I actually don't like this part. The song is weirdly hybrid among different genres, and this part kinda sounds overproduced...love the rest of it though.
I agree that it's made so that it could be a multi-format smash because there are clearly country parts and clearly pop parts, and then parts that are both.
Okay, a few minutes later the re-e-e-e-e part is the part that's most stuck in my head. Doesn't mean it's the best part, but if a single that'll be the most memorable part.

She looks absolutely gorgeous in that Glamour shoot. My fav is the one with her wearing a short pink dress, on the steps of the train.
As for "Red" song. Just heard it. Gotta say I'm very disappointed with this one. Hate the "R-r-r-ed parts... and the lyrics/melody doesn't feel any different from a track from TS/Fearless era. Begin Again is light years better, imo.

Taylor's full Nightline Interview
I like Red.Not as Great as Begin Again. But is is way better than Never Ever which is the weakest of the four songs released since August.

Wow, the "r-r-red" caught me off guard at first, but that's the part already glued in my mind after 2 listens.

2012 MTV EMA performance confirmed! Taylor to perform at 2012 MTV EMAs on November 11th. Taylor Swift, Muse and No Doubt at MTV EMA By Fuseworks Ltd. | Fuseworks – 41 minutes ago MTV today announced the first batch of performers for the “2012 MTV EMA,” with three of the world’s most popular acts in pop and rock set to take the stage in Germany. Global superstar Taylor Swift - whose single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” reached the #1 position atop the iTunes charts in 32 countries in its first week of release - will perform at her first ever MTV EMA. Global stadium rock stars Muse, whose last album topped the charts in 19 countries and who have sold more than 15 million albums to date, will return to the MTV EMA stage with a performance from their sixth studio album “The 2nd Law,” which is released this week. And riding the wave of acclaim for their first new album in 11 years, “Push and Shove,” No Doubt will bring their California ska style to the EMA festivities. Hosted by supermodel, entrepreneur and hometown girl Heidi Klum, the 19th annual awards show will broadcast live from Frankfurt’s historic Festhalle on Sunday, 11th November at 9PM CET- on MTV channels around the world, and is sponsored by partners such as Microsoft and Replay. Taylor Swift said, “I’ve always wanted to go to the EMA, because you hear about the spectacle of it, and how everyone just goes all out for their performances. To be nominated for five EMAs was the most exciting feeling, and I was absolutely blown away. I can’t wait to be there this year and perform on the show!” nz.sports.yahoo.com/news/taylor-swift-muse-no-doubt-081052461.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

Daaaaamn was I wrong about this song. She keeps re-teaching me that you can't judge a song by its snippet. I was really afraid that the color gimmick would be distracting..

I love RED. Especially the re-re-re-re-re-red part. This might be the first Swizzle album I'll be buying.

Red is the PERFECT blend of pop and country. It has that country sound with the "re-e-e-ed re-e-e-d" part that makes it poppy.... ahhhh it's perfect.

Wow her voice sounds amazing in Red...aside from the auto-tune bits, it is perfect. This should have been the first single. It gives me a great vibe about the album.

I really feel like the stars are all aligning for Taylor to repeat her Fearless era. Speak Now was huge in its own right and gave Taylor so much credibility as an artist. She didn't face any backlash during the era either really as opposed to the end of the Fearless era so that helps as well obviously. It also just feels like there's more hype around her release this time. Add to that the fact that WANEGBT is a bigger hit than "Mine" turned out to be, plus the early success of "Begin Again" and "Red." I don't know if this album will outsell Fearless, but I think it will outsell both Speak Now and her debut album and I would not be at all surprised to see this become her bestselling album. Having said that, we haven't heard the album yet. But so far, even with the lead single missing the top 10 at country, her label is doing everything right so far for this era to be massive.
