Where did you hear it's going to radio in the morning?
I know a lot of people are against this project, but I like this. It's so haunting. I also feel like if Aaliyah were still alive, 40 is definitely someone she'd be working with. He stays true to her own style, but he updates her sound to sound like something that could be a hit in 2012. This honestly feels like Aaliyah is still with us and came back from a decade-long hiatus.
It will be interesting to see how this does, if it's indeed going to radio. She passed away 11 years ago, and the last time an Aaliyah single was sent to radio was over 9 years ago. I wonder how receptive radio will be.

I dont really have a problem with her working with Drake, unless it was something i felt Aaliyah herself would not do...i feel the sound and vibe of this song is the Aaliyah i know

Where did you hear it's going to radio in the morning?. A few radio dj's on Twitter have said they've had it since Friday and cannot play it until tomorrow. So I assume it's going to radio.

LMAO, "selling under 150, you ni**as gotta be KIDDING!" This project might be in questionable taste but it's about time somebody put these studio scraps to use. And who better than Drake & 40, right? If you reply Timbaland, you're dead wrong.

I don't like Drake being on the track with her. I don't like him executive producing her album. I don't like that he thinks they were lovers even though she died not knowing who he was.
But this is a STUNNING vocal performance from her. If Drake gets Missy and Timbaland involved with this album, I'll feel better about it.

I absolutely love this. I know many people are against Drake being involved in the project, but I think he and "40" did a great job creating a sound for Aaliyah's vocals that not only sounds current, but that also still remains true to what Aaliyah would have released had she still been with us making music :(

Part of me feels he needs to come out the closet leave her material alone. Remixing unreleased & unfinished tracks from someone that's no longer here doesn't sit well w/me. I think the idea of sharing her music to her fans is cute, but it doesn't feel right, to me.
On the other hand, this was nice. Very dark, gloomy & mystic vibe. I think I heard Missy on the background vocals.

I like this but I just wish Drake wasn't on this. Him being on this and being one of the executive producers of the album dosen't sit well with me.

My biggest gripe with this is Drake throwing shade at Chris Brown, on a track by a dead woman who never knew either of them. Unnecessary and tasteless. I hope we get a no-rap version, but I feel like the song might sound repetitive without it.

I would prefer to hear Missy & even Jay or Kanye (people who knew her while she was living) adding something to this than Drake.

I agree jazzysoul, for me that's why I have such a problem with Drake's role in this. To me, he doesn't come across as someone (even a fan) who is trying to pay a tribute to her legacy and create something beautiful with the leftovers of someone who left too early. This track comes off as him trying to have "his turn" with her, like he's doing all of his for his own weird closure rather than trying to make a tribute to her.

Is it just me, or does it barely sound like her? Some of the vocals in parts sound really processed.....but they probably are.
Anyway, this is decent. I like it. It pretty much sounds like I thought it would, given the people involved.

I love Aaliyah so much that I don't mind that Drake is on this. This sounds like it was left over from the Aaliyah era.
Good, chill record. Her vocals (then) are crisp as ever.

It most likely was. She has a lot of unreleased tracks from around that time that were pretty much done and just needed mixing. Timbo said a few months ago that he and Missy have about 40 unreleased records in the vault (mostly from the OIAM era).
edit: An Aaliyah fan made a solo edit of "Enough Said".

IDK this feels kinda creepy, but the song is nice and 40's production is amazing.

I like it. So what if Drake can get Aaliyah's legacy some shine... I say let him. Timbaland hasn't been relevant for 5 years and counting.

^ Is he really though thinking about giving Aaliyah's legacy some shine?, not that i think she needs his help usually when dealing with a deceased artist work those close to them personally should be in the front, but iam just glad to hear new Aaliyah again

Should Drake have said no to this when presented to him?

I will say this though, if Drake also had blessing from the family then nobody really should have a issue with it i guess

I think this was Drake's idea in the first place. So Drake did this without buy in from the label or from Missy or Timba? He didn't need Missy or Timbaland's permission. He needed permission from Blackground, and he got it. They turned the tracks over to him and 40.

I love her vocals on this but the song as a whole I don't like.
