How is Jason doing on Hot AC so far with this song? It went for adds very recently!
Meanwhile, it regained its bullet after losing on Triple A but still moving up slowly. I doubt this'll go Top 3 with Ben and John and Jack.

The song is boring IMO and lacks the appeal of The Remedy. I think it suits AAA, but it will flop on pop and Hot AC. I haven't heard Jason's album, but I have a funny feeling he might be a one-hit wonder...

This song is not bad at all... very comfortable to listen to... but I can see some people possibly bored by this song due to the simplicity of the song in terms of the sound.

I absolutely love this song's lyrics and style. I really like it a lot more than The Remedy (which I already liked a lot), but I can see how this might not be a big hit.

I like the song, I just don't think it's his best choice for a second single.

#21 for the second week on Hot AC while it makes its first major drop on Triple A, falling 4-7 in its 22nd? 23rd? week on. I think it's the first time the song moved more than two places since it jumped 21-15, I think.
Any word on a what or when the third single will be released?

Any word on a what or when the third single will be released? This isn't the second week for "You & I Both" on Hot AC. I am a bit unaware of its chart run, but it has been wrestling with Seal's "Waiting For You" for a Top 20 entry for quite some time and made a slow ascend before then. He'll make it when his own "The Remedy" goes recurrent Sunday. "You & I Both" certainly has had an impressive chart run on AAA despite barely going Top 5. Hey, speaking of which, how long as The Wallflower's "Closer To You" been on this chart? It can't seem to let go and must be the oldest single on the chart. Also, word has it "Curbside Prophet" will be the third single (a clumsy choice) but I sure hope that is false and "On Love, In Sadness" is next. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

This isn't the second week for "You & I Both" on Hot AC. He meant it was #21 for the second week in a row. I really don't see why people said this was a weak choice for a 2nd single. It's catchy, fun, extremely radio friendly, easy to sing along to, not painful on the ears in the least bit, it's not too "above the top" for popheads, yet it's not retarded like every other song on that album.

I like this song. Don't think it'll do all that well, but it could pick up. The video could help it's popularity.

I kind of like this song, it's extremely poppy, but it's still good. I don't think it'll be that successful, definetly not as successful as The Remedy.
I'd like to see "Too Much Food" as his third single. And, it might actually be the third single, since there's some food drive named after the song.

I heard that "Curbside Prophet" was the third single. It was stated somewhere on the boards.

Good song... has a very Don McLean-esque feel to it.

You're the first person to mention that, Aaron. When I first got his CD last Spring, I mentioned his sound resembelence to Don McLean on a few of his songs.

I think this song is better than 'The Remedy' and it's good to see it take off! :) I'm looking forward to the third single.

I love Jason Mraz. The album is good so if you don't have it you should pick it up. He was completely shunned at the Grammy's this year.
Thanks, Ben

Thanks, Ben NONONONONONONONO.... whatever you do, do not pick up the album. His two singles are good but everything else on the album will make you wish you've never been born.

Why don't you like it? There are some really catchy songs on there like "Curbside Prophet," and "Who Needs Shelter" and there are some good ballads like "Absolutely Zero" (I love that song) and "The Boy's Gone". Thanks, Ben

My favourite album of 2003! My least favourite song on it is 'Absolutely Zero', my favourite is 'On Love, In Sadness' followed far behind by 'Tonight, Not Again', which in itself is an A song. The whole CD is great! I recommend it completely! Go get it! Jason rulez! When's his next single and if there's none, when's the next album!?

Okay, seriously, I consider myself pretty up to date when it comes to music and practically everything else entertainment related; so why the hell did I just hear this song for the first time last week?
What a great song. Is it pretty much over chartwise? I noticed his album is making big strides up the album chart, and the video is in pretty heavy rotation. On the other hand, the song doesn't seem to have made a dent whatsoever at radio. I have to say I'm pretty surprised, it's very pop-friendly, moreso than "The Remedy" anyway.

His music is nothing I would stop my radio dial for, and it's nothing I haven't heard before. I sold his cd back to the used cd store here also. He hasn't "proven" it to me yet.

His album isn't what I typically listen to, but it's really good. My personal favorite song on the album is "The Boy Is Gone" - the first verse is really great and thought-provoking.

It got its bullet back on Hot AC this week, is recurrent (#4?) on Triple A and is probably peaking presently on Pop at the moment. I'm looking forward to his DVD. I bet Jason has good shows but not big concert shows, more like the small club ones.

Pop radio? But it went for adds there a while ago? On Hot AC, it moves up without a bullet and down with a bullet. I think in the last month it went 16-17*-16-17*-16

That's very strange indeed. "You And I Both" is not far from actually going recurrent on Hot AC, given it has been unable to rise deep into the Top 15 forever. Why would CHR/Pop want to give it a second chance now on the eve of the release of "Curbside Prophet". Sincerely, Noah Eaton
