Howie recorded "She Says" for Last Call with Carson Daly yesterday (Jan. 7). The performance will air January 13, then he's on Letterman the next day. Could SHE SAYS be his next song?

I've heard "Brace Yourself" on the Music Choice Alternative station. They usually jump on next singles so that could be it, although that station doesn't play "Perfect Time of Day". Nonetheless, I think that song is somewhat decent.

He has a ton of options, and eventhough "She Says" is an old song, the revised version on Stop All The World Now is the best. I think it's probably the best choice.

She Says would be a great single choice, and I would not be surprised and expect to see Collide get pushed as a single at some point. Brace Yourself, End of Our Days & Come Lay Down would also be acceptable choices though.

I think She Says, Collide, and End of Our Days are all good radio songs. However, there could be problems with releasing Collide or End of Our Days... Collide, he'd have to defend himself against the similarities between it and Dave Matthews' Crash in both the title and the overall sound. And I know this is nitpicky, but End of Our Days and Perfect Time of Day both have kind of similar titles.
She Says is one of Howie's best songs ever I think, especially the slower version from Australia. He wrote it when he was like 16 and it was recorded when he was 19. That is pretty damn impressive. Just my opinion.

"Collide" would be an excellent single and I don't see how it's similar to Dave Matthews, other than that the words "crash" and "collide" have a similar meaning. Different content, different metaphors, and different sound. I could see it crossing over to Hot AC and maybe even pop. "She Says" wouldn't be a bad choice either, although I'm a bit iffy on that one considering that there was also a version on Australia. I can't help but think that Epic might send out "Come Lay Down" as the next single, but if they did that would be a disaster because it sounds cool but would be a terrible single.

"She Says" is listed as going for AAA adds next week. If they promote this one right, I think it could be Top 20 on Hot AC and maybe hit the bottom part of the pop chart. Then they should release "Collide" and that'll be his breakthrough hit.

"Perfect Time of Day" is now down 2-12 on AAA. :o I've never seen that big a position fall before.

"Perfect Time of Day" is now down 2-12 on AAA. :o I've never seen that big a position fall before. Lately, AAA has been notorious for doing that. And I'm not happy when it happens to such a good song as this one, especially when they aren't giving "She Says" nearly enough spins to make up for such a big drop. If this keeps up then it could fall below 15 by the final update and go 6-off, which is ludicrous.

"Perfect Time of Day" is a great song. I can't believe it's 2-14 now on Mediabase. After I found myself loving this song about 3 weeks ago, since then it has plummeted. I really don't understand why, especially since "She Says" isn't even in the top 20.
